Super Sonic is the Super State of Sonic the Hedgehog which he can achieve by harnessing the power of all seven Chaos Emeralds and usually fifty Rings. In this form, he is golden, invincible, and able to demolish enemies with ease. In Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic and Shadow both use the Chaos Emeralds to reach their Super forms in order to stop the Biolizard, which has merged with Space Colony ARK and is guiding it on a crash course to Earth.
