- Description: Jade first appeared in MKII as a non-playable hidden character who randomly appeared onscreen with clues on how to locate her. She was a green palette swap of Kitana who could only be accessed by players at a specific point in the game after winning a round using only the Low Kick button. It was not until UMK3 that she became playable, and was given a backstory as a fellow Edenian and childhood friend of Kitana.
