- True, but, at some point u do in fact meet a friend that is true and good to u. For example, ur boyfriend. Not only is he ur lover, he is ur friend. He cares for u, like a friend would.

- well friends are nothing and it is healthy........i dont have friends but i think that living on my own will get me somewhere someday without anyone holding me back.

Your grandmother is quite the eerie lady,
I think some friends can hold you back, but you will always come across a friend that is true.
I think this passage is almost 100% on the truth,
need some spell check though.
