The 5th annual Race to Remember 5K is a great little race with a hometown feel and is very well organized. It takes place in downtown Dallas, starting at the First United Methodist Church at 8 a.m. This race honors the memory of Kelly Guffey, who lost her battle with cancer at 32 years old. Race fees are $20 and proceeds of the race go towards a $1000 nursing scholarship.

Jack Hoffman has been a staple in Husker football since becoming close with Rex Burkhead. As Burkhead was finished with his college football career and about to graduate from the university the team showed how focused they were on Jack's well-being by having the entire team get in on making his day during the Spring Red vs White Game.
