Pediatric Cancer Children's Book - Where's My Hair?
He dipped his artificial leg into the Atlantic Ocean and headed west. But, the instructor or teacher still receives a gift from the organization. Peter's UMC Early Childhood Development Center, enrollment starts on January 9th.I have recently read a pediatric cancer children's book titled, Where's My Hair? The author is Patti Block. She is from the state of Minnesota which is located in the USA. The illustrator is Swapan Debnath.

Coupling artists with these relevant organizations brings a great amount of attention and fan support to causes that need all the backing they can get. Downtime began with a simple idea: Get bands involved with causes that interest them while they have free time. Harren, having been around plenty of bands throughout his cancer, knew that bands do indeed have a lot of free time. Through their connection with Downtime, bands can promote the cause(s) they choose via Facebook pages, during concerts and by spreading the word to their fan base while on cancer the road. They can also volunteer when they are not touring. Downtime allows artists to use their power for good.

Many companies are becoming more conscious of philanthropic efforts and are doing what they can to join in the fight. The next time you are grocery shopping, read the labels to find out who is helping. Some products that you buy may donate a portion of proceeds to a good cause. Specially marked Glad containers donate to cancer research. Dawn dishwashing liquid will donate to help save wildlife. And Rachael Ray's dog food, Nutrish, donates all proceeds to organizations that help animals in need.

The First Bites Bash kicks off Chicago Restaurant Week in the Great Hall at Union Station on Thursday, January 24th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. To whet your appetite for Chicago Restaurant Week, 50 of Chicago's top restaurants and chefs will be in attendance, offering sweet and savory tastings. Dirk Flanigan, Executive Chef of Henri and the Gage, will host this year's event, and a portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Bear Necessities cancer research Foundation. Tickets are $95, and can be purchased here.

JH: It's three-part goal: 1. Give artists something good to do while on or off the road--something to fill their Downtime, 2. To make a difference for whatever cause they've been paired with, and 3. To encourage and mobilize fans towards action--to try to get them to go from hearing about a cause, to actually participating in whatever it is the artist is doing.

I know a girl named McKenzie. When she was 4, she saw a letter about Alex and after hearing her story, McKenzie told her mother she wanted to have her own lemonade stand. They raised $1418 that year. McKenzie is on her 4th lemonade stand, which she now holds in front of a business in her city. She has raised over $6700 and hopes that this year will push her over the $10,000 mark. This is more money than I have raised or donated in my entire life.
