But you're going to have to walk me through on this one as math is not my strong suit.

Let's take the classic example of a 4.5 walking on to GB and then encounters a 6.6 golem, and since we know that they should at least have a GGG lets use that as the ring they are using.

Damage = (1 + [ YourCL - TargetCL ] / 2) * (Ring's Damage)

D = (1 + [4.5 - 6.6] /2) * (70)
D = (1 + [-2.1] /2) * (70)
D = (1 + [-1.05]) * (70)
D = (-.05) * (70)
D = -3.5?

I think you can see where I'm having trouble. >.<

By my understanding, a Crit will simply take the damage coming out of that equation and apply a multiplier ranging somewhere between x2 and x3. There seems to be no link between Crits and the source of the Crit. The ring or Animated, that is.

Yeah, good catch. Anything that goes less than 1 becomes 1 it appears.

Mmmm... if the difference between attacker and target is greater than 2.0 CL let me re-phrase this if the attacker is 2.0 CL or more below the Target, you get 1 damage. When the shift equation results in a negative or 0, in Mathy words, if I recall properly.

I can't wait to see these. I found this exceptionally easy to understand (and I pretty much failed algebra when I took it two years ago. Although, I feel that it was the teacher's fault because I haven't gotten below an A all year in geometry and there is algebra stuff in here too. /sidetrack)

I like it! I shall spread it to my friends and be like "Meh, you can't kill too many of these on your own because you'll only be doing about this much on average as seen on THIS mini guide..."

Heavy Water Balloon also has a hate effect.

But then, all healing/attacking/buffing builds hate.
