Well I got a really crappy essay to critique so I'm feeling better about the fact I can at least use spellcheck and proofread my essay. Also made a phonecall and sent an email so I feeling kind of productive. No writing yet but I will when I get home.... just need to hang around campus a bit longer incase a friend needs a ride home after class.

And my current story world started out sort of as fanfiction and it just got too far from the original that I cut out the characters I didn't care for and renamed the others. sweatdrop I suck at keeping characters in character and it's more fun to do whatever I want with them without feeling constricted by 'canon'. I had too many original characters in it anyway. though changing the names turned out to be a larger hassle then I thought it would be. sweatdrop Anyway, there's not much left at all of the original basis of things... sweatdrop

@ jayden: Lol! I have a few stories like that too. I have an original story idea lined up now that was originally a fanfiction. But, like you said, at some point it strays so far that you have to ask yourself if it's worth it to even try and keep the connections to the original content.
Yep. But, that's so cool! I think it's so cool that so much awesome original content are being born out of fan communities these days. I think that's just awesome. X3
