At this, Rainer glanced back at his partner thoughtfully. He knew deep down his feelings toward his partner are genuine, but would it be right this time? Last time, he acted reckless by throwing that word at someone who once been a stranger, now a person he held so dear. Yet still... He didn't want to mess this up. Again. With quiet resolve, Rainer sets his hand close to his heart for a moment. "To be honest, I am not good at expressing my words -- despite my mishap from before, but I know other ways to express it." And with an outstretched hand, he reaches for the hand grasping the bachi, which he places over, as his deep grey eyes lock on his partner's, his cheeks tinged in a lighter shade of pink. "I prefer this instead."
v "...!" The man breathed a soft laugh as his heart is filled with joy. Like two pieces of the same puzzle, their lips connected in a precious kiss as any feeling of nervousness and doubt disappears from his mind. His hand reaches up to gently caress his partner's cheek once they parted, a rarest smile replace his expression only meant for the other.
Following a moment's quiet contemplation, he looks up at the hunter with his usual bright demeanor. "What do ya think? Do ya know me enough to have said it for real, this time?" Though eyes upon the strings and fingers grasping at the bachi, he's not without further thoughts. "Maybe wanting to know more and more is just part of it. This 'love.'" His attention returns to Rainer, sunny smile and all. 'Love' isn't only words. Already Sonbei knows as much.

Joyously so, vulpine face all smiles and exuberantly red once withdrawn. "Rainer! I love you, too." A feeling that's understood very well between the two of them, with words and without.
Throk sighs wearily. "You've had enough. Go to the inn and sleep it off. I don't know who this 'Lety' person is, but I'm not them. I'm certainly not related to you, so you can cut the 'family' stuff too."
The fact that you put together a romantic picnic underneath a blossoming tree might just mean I'm willing to overlook the fact you have a deer skull for a head....
"Has't I enchant'd thee so?" He delicately touches a hand to his cheek with a smile. "And yet thou has't not given me the chance to even gaze upon thy visage in turn. Prithee, at least tell me thy name so I may court thee properly."
