I'd rather Apparate. I already know how to drive so learning the sticks for the flying car shouldn't be too different, but apparating you could go anywhere in a couple of seconds.

Hm... I would take the little owl because I don't really like the colors Pygmy Puffs come in.
Plus, owls are more useful.
