The pair continued their surfing with friends until they were wrinkled from being in the water for too long. Once the two were on their own, the real fun began. Squeaks had been so busy teaching, and without having her own board until today since she had started attending Valencia, Emily had been unable to get out on the waves with the cat like the good old days. After the pair had pulled in out of the surf, they enjoyed a bit of time with each other. Like the good old days. Well, not quite like the good old days. Instead of a shy boy and an overconfident cat girl, there were two confident girls, happy to have their oldest friend back. Laying the sand, the two talked about the old times.

Emily sat up, crossed her legs and looked Squeaks in the eyes. "So, um... I was wondering..." Squeaks sat up. The catgirl had an idea of where Emily was going. And Squeaks feared that she was going to have to break her friend's heart.

Squeaks sat up and matched the gaze. "What?"

Emily's face turned red and she slightly averted her eyes. "So, I'm... Um... Can we... I was wondering if you... would like to... you know... go out with me?" she asked. There! I asked! Say yes already! Emily sat expectantly as she waited for Squeaks to respond.

Squeaks sighed, took Emily's hands and frowned. She dropped her normal inflection in favor of a more natural one. Damn it..."Emily..." The blue haired homunculus looked on expectantly as Squeaks talked. "I know some tings about us... And dat we can't ever... you know... be a couple..." Emily's face dropped as she pushed Squeaks hands out of her own, tears streaming down her face.

Emily took off down the beach. "Stupid Squeaks!" Why!? she thought as she ran down the beach. It was all she could do.

Squeaks stood up. She figured it was best for her to have some distance between the two of them. Squeaks may have invariably destroyed her friendship. But she also knew it was for the best that they not be together. Squeaks did love Emily. Just not how Emily wanted.

Where the wolf's at: the beach
My current pack: Sveta, Tyler, and Saria
XXXXXOutfit (minus the swim trunks)

With all that was going on, Lulu nearly missed Shasta's invitation. But it didn't mean she didn't hear him at all. "Ya mean a vacation at yer place, River?" she just asked as she wanted to make sure she heard him correctly. "Heck yeah! Never really cared for fishin' much, but with y'all it might actually be fun. Oh! But I dun think Ma would let me go by myself. So if ya want me ta come, I'll probably have ta drag along one o' my uncles, at least. They're pretty good fer outdoors-y stuff, though." Heaven only knew how protective her family was of her, so the red-haired werewolf knew that she'd either stay at school or have a designated guardian. With any luck, she'd be able to get Gregory on babysitting duty; he was the most relaxed out of all her family members and the most likely to let her roam around with her friends. And Tyler. I'm gonna have ta tell 'em 'bout Ty eventually. God, that'll be an interestin' conversation.

But today wouldn't be that day. Lulu was there to have fun and forget about the problems of the outside world, so she didn't dwell on it. Far better to focus on surfing.

* * * * * * * * * *

As the day wore on, Lulu was quite glad that she'd gotten so much practice surfing. While no one could keep up with Squeaks or Emily, the mere fact that everyone else was still competing for the 3rd spot and below was a treat. As was seeing Tyler wipe out in a most spectacular fashion late in the afternoon, as most of the people on the beach were going back to the dorms or finding other activities to occupy themselves with. The ginger werewolf couldn't hold back a hearty laugh as she saw her boyfriend hit the water. "What's up, Ty? Ya were doin' so well, too!" she shouted, although her words would almost certainly be lost in the crashing of the waves.

Letting her board skim the water over to where Tyler had been knocked off, Lulu grabbed his board as it surfaced. The force of hitting the water had separated him from his board, apparently, and that was made doubly clear as he surfaced on the beach, shouting about his eyes. "Hey, I got yer bo-" The ginger werewolf's voice just stopped; she wasn't near Tyler by any means, but she could still see him. And he was no longer wearing anything.

Lillian had no idea if the white werewolf knew what had happened or not, but she was fairly certain that he didn't go around throwing his clothes off at any opportunity he got. Nor did he run straight to Saria and Sveta while doing so. Dammit! Where're Ty's shorts?! I dun see 'em anywhere! Wait... wait, I have shorts on. "Hang on, Ty! I'm comin'!" Lulu shouted to shore as she paddled furiously to catch up with her boyfriend.

Pulling up to shore, she hopped off her board and ran over to where he and the two girls were, shucking her swim trunks off in the process. It was days like this that made her extremely grateful that she usually wore two layers of clothing, at least for the lower half. Bunching it up into a ball, Lillian hurled the old trunks at Tyler, nearly at the same time that Saria was hurling the suntan lotion bottle. "Cover yerself up, Ty! No'un wants ta see tha' right now!"

The ginger werewolf didn't know where those specific words had come from, but she was feeling an upwell of righteous fury, mostly because of the fact that her new boyfriend was flashing her good friends. If they began to feel bad because of this, then even the excuse that he hadn't known would save Tyler from a good whack to the noggin.

Asthore was always happy to meet new people and to learn things about them. Most of the other creatures at this school came from all over the Earth, or other realms entirely, so there was always something new to learn. The only other nekojin she had felt around the school had been Chole, so it was nice to see there were other nekojin's about. And this one was a male. She wondered how much they were truly like their full feline counterparts, but she would refrain from asking any rude questions out of the blue. She was not about to ask him something and turn out to be something personal or something that made him uncomfortable. No, she would save the questions for after she got to know him a bit better.

"The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Kiku," she said bowing her head in formal greeting.

Asthore was always formal with new acquaintances, but she would modify her habits if they preferred her to do so in the future. She was raised to always treat others with formal respect and protocol until told otherwise. It was a good habit when living with a long lived race--some of them are very snoody and would kill another creature for not showing them the respect they believed they deserved.

So it was just something that had always stuck with her.

It took Asthore a moment to catch the joke Kiku had made, but she smiled and chuckled a bit, "Yes, I can understand" she said, the humor still present in her face. "But what a first day to have, for there are no classes and everyone is out here on the beach. Truly it would be the perfect chance to take a tour of the island and get the lay of the land and halls of the school. If you would like a guide sometime, I would be happy to help, though, I may not be the best," she said, before reaching up to the red silk cloth that covered her eyes. It was her way of saying 'I can help, but I can't point out the beauty or landmarks around.'

Being blind had it's drawbacks sometimes.

~*~ιησυє кιкυ~*~

The formality of the beautiful Fey woman was refreshing for Kiku; a lot of people he had come across in his home town tended to be rather crude and impolite – most often times, both. Though he wasn't too big on excessive formality, manners were most certainly a good thing to have – and Asthore seemed to have them.

“You can simply call me Kiku, if you wish.” he assured her, “I don't mind it.”Besides, he hoped that perhaps he could befriend her – if she was alright with such. She very well may have just tolerated him approaching her due to her very polite nature, after all. He'd definitely hoped not, though. Kiku would like to think he wasn't an inconvenience to everyone he met...

“Oh,” Kiku said, a tinge of guilt in his voice. He had noticed the sash over her eyes, but hadn't made the connection until she pointed it out, “I'm sorry – I didn't think...” Kiku stopped himself; she probably didn't need his pity, though he hadn't intended for it to come out that way. Still, she must have gotten such a lot.

And besides, who was to say that for her, blindness was a negative thing? It would be wrong to assume such. She was a Fey, after all. They may have not relied as heavily on their sight as other beings. In the case of Kiku, as he was virtually a humanoid being with feline features, he relied very much on his sight – which was emphasised by said feline features.

“I...would appreciate your help very much, Asthore-san. It's very kind of you.” The Nekojin said. “And it is rather uncanny that I start my first day at a time when the school is virtually empty. I guess I'm just lucky?” Kiku gave a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his neck.

It was refreshing to meet someone like Kiku after some of the other people she had met since entering the human world. Some of the people out here were not the best sort to hang around with, and Kiku seemed like a good person. Perhaps she made a new friend today? That would be two. She had enjoyed a walk to the beach earlier with a homunculus by the name of Vincent. He was a fun sort of guy, and she would enjoy conversing with him again as well.

Asthore nodded, "Very well then, Kiku, it is a pleasure," she said again, still sounding polite. There was no way to completely get the fey woman to stop being completely polite, but she could at least be less formal when using someone's name. Somethings were a little harder to lose.

Asthore shook her head, "It is quite all right. I have been this way since birth; I am simply as I was meant to be," and she said it with a smile on her face. Some reacted badly to discovering her to be blind because in some cultures and races it was almost impossible for one to get around alone without the aide of sight. When Asthore had been younger, it had certainly been a struggle to get around the faerie mounds without getting lost or ending up in places she was not meant to be. That had been when her father had given her a faerie hound named Herne, who had been named after The Hunter. Her faerie hound had been a large dog--a Newfoundland to be exact--and though she could not see him, her father had described him to her many times. The large dog was covered in thick dark red fur that tipped out black at the ends and really dark on the tip of his tail and left ear. His eyes were bright, bright gold. He had been her protector and friend.

He still was, whever she returned to the mounds.

He liked to mother her sometimes. It was cute.

"Not at all. Anyone would do such a thing... I hope, anyway, for someone who is new. And she meant that. She hoped that anyone would do the same thing if they were in her position. It was only natural to help those that needed it, and a tour of the school was no different. "At least we are not all on break, and that most of the students have remained here. That just means it will be easier to meet others before having to sit around in a classroom." She was not sure how to take his nervous laugh, so she refrained from commenting. But she did try to think of something.

Maybe there was someone else around that she could introdce the Nekojin to? Surely meeting as many people as possible would be good for him, that way he could have more than one friend or familiar face once classes resumed.

This day was going awesome for the young homunculus show boat. Or at least it was till everything came to a screeching halt. He was escorting a beautiful young fey girl, making her laugh, enjoying some stories. Hell this was probably starting as one of his best days so far. A cheeky grin on his face as he talked to Asthore. Even when things got a little heavier and it was obvious the girl had a huge crush on someone it wasn't too much of a buzz kill. Yeah sure, it was a little disappointing to Quark but there were always tons of fish in the sea. So instead he would have opted for helping this girl out, if only she didn't suddenly vanish in a huff and leave him. Which only just left the poor boy confused. "Did I say something?" He mumbled to himself. Quickly checking himself to make sure it wasn't something like his fly was down or he smelt bad. Quark had been ditched before, but never so suddenly. "And here I thought we were starting to get all buddy buddy. f**."

It seemed once one thing went down hill everything else would as well. First the spectacular red head ran off in a hurry, then that winged arse of a professor Laurent confiscated his liquid courage. It felt like girls were laughing at him. Just what the hell was wrong with today. All it did was fill the homunculus with a bubbling over annoyance and anger that he really wanted to let out on someone. Some fun day to relax and party it was, all he could do at this point was crack his knuckles and walk around the beach looking for something, anything. Normally the happy go lucky guy was a hard person to get bothered like this. Sure Quark could get angry easily, but it wasn't a hatred. When he was made it was just when his passion and stupidity mixed together. There wasn't any passion in this, and it was bubbling over.

Practically dragging his knuckles till it had to be the afternoon he finally spotted someone who he could ease up on. A barely visible specter of a man. "Oi! Cy ya b*****d get over here!" He shouted out. Despite all his previous instances with the ghost he actually liked the kid. Besides the ghost threw a hell of a left that really left a mark on him. Quickly the silver haired homunculus jogged up to the ghost. "What the hell's the matter with you? Seem pale for someone whos already see through, what ya see a ghost?" Even though he was an idiot, or maybe it was because he was such an idiot Quark found his little joke so funny he couldn't help but let out a laugh. Asking a ghost if he saw a ghost, hysterical. "Now ya ******** whats got you so up and...not here? Come on, tell me. Tell me tell me tell me? What is it? Did some ******** steal your lunch money...No think of it a ghost wouldn't need lunch. Oh I know. Some knuckle dragger moved in and impressed your lass aint it? Oi that would piss me right off. Thinking some bloke is making the moves on the girl I favor. That they would be getting all kissy and romantic in swim trunks. Would turn me right red and not cause of the sun. Wonder how far they got?" Words simply flowed from his mouth with no regard for anyone who was really listening. His mind just started traveling and once again that clueless or simple nature of his was showing. "Ah well, if you see that fine Asthore anywhere let me know. Woman must be near divinity, thought my heart nearly stopped when we were walking together this morning. Don't think ive ever seen a woman finer. And how she was dressed, dear lord has graced this earth with an angel like no other. But ya know if she had a devlish streak in her I would not be the man to object." His elbow attempted to nudge at the ghost boy's side as an instinct for when he said a statement that was more a joking notion then anything else only to have it phase right though him. His eyes close for a moment as he thought back to that beautiful and astoundingly nice woman known as Asthore. Damn she would make some man lucky, and he could only hope she got a good man. "So what were we on about?"

My current post: the beach
What fine company: Sir Quark

Cyrus tried. He really tried to have fun that day, like his friends had suggested. He scavenged the beach for seashells, went underwater for a nice stroll, and even attempted chatting with a few people. But nothing was helping. If anything, the ghost's attempts to make himself feel better just drove him to pity himself even more. I am truly pathetic, he thought as he wandered the beach well into the afternoon. The day is wonderful, and I cannot enjoy it. I... I do not deserve to enjoy it, I suppose. Tis the world's way of punishing me... So be it. I deserve to be punished for my transgressions. So caught up in his own thoughts was he that Cyrus didn't notice the approach of one very quirky homunculus.

He feigned happiness at Quark's arrival, forcing himself to smile as he turned to the other boy. "I... I may have..." Cyrus sighed at the boy's question about seeing a ghost. He didn't have the energy to detect jokes, nor the good humor to laugh at them anyway. The homunculus then started rambling on and on about what could possibly be wrong to upset the ghost. He decided to humor Quark as he didn't have anything else to do, but his heart stopped cold the moment his 'crush' was brought up. He clenched his fists, surprised at his own sudden reaction after spending most of the day in an unfeeling daze. But Quark didn't just stop at bringing it up...

"Some knuckle dragger moved in and impressed your lass aint it?"

No... Twas me. I did it... I hurt her...

"Thinking some bloke is making the moves on the girl I favor."

Lady Asthore deserves someone who would do that... Moreso than I...

"Wonder how far they got?"

Farther than I ever deserve to get, I am sure... But that thought stopped promptly as Quark continued, heedless of the ghost's reactions.

"Ah well, if you see that fine Asthore anywhere let me know. Woman must be near divinity, thought my heart nearly stopped when we were walking together this morning."

You...? Tis... No...

"Don't think I've ever seen a woman finer."

No... Is this what my hubris has brought? No... No, I cannot allow it...

"But ya know if she had a devlish streak in her I would not be the man to object."

I shall object... I am filth, scum, rubbish... for this to be where my path leads... But... I... I will not let you take her...

When Quark finally finished his mini-rant about how beautiful Asthore was, Cyrus had clenched his eyes shut, his entire body going tense. It might have ended there, had the homunculus not asked that silly question at the end. The ghost gritted his teeth and snarled, "You... do not deserve an explanation, clown." The dropping of his usual 'Sir' would've been enough for most to realize that something was clearly not right with the ghost. Opening his eyes, anyone nearby could see that they had changed from his normal dark brown to blood red, glowing angrily and awfully. "I have made... a terrible mistake..." Slowly at first, then almost all at once, his form began turning black. Not just dark shades of his normal colors, but truly black, like the bottom of a well on a moonless night. The temperature in the immediate vicinity dropped significantly; ice even formed near his feet as the darkness took hold. Further away, the temperature was also dropping. Not by the same amount, of course, but enough to draw attention to the scene. "But that mistake..." Cyrus growled, looking down at his hands as he hunched over slightly before glaring back up at the homunculus... and shooting to his feet in a flurry of inky darkness.

"THAT MISTAKE IS NOT AN INVITATION!" Cyrus shouted, his voice far deeper and harsher than usual, heedless of who heard him. He was angry at so many things at that moment that he was certain he was angry at everyone who could hear him as well.

Where the trouble's at: the beach
Who's being dragged along: Dexter, Arazia, and Shasta
XXXXXOutfit

Yang had to laugh at Dexter's question about the island. "Well, it wasn't just one chase. Add them all up, and that's probably the length you'd get. Still had a lot of long chases, though..." In fact, the merman was feeling so good, he was even feeling like opening up to Dexter just a bit. Unfortunately, that's when the whole situation with Arazia and Shasta occurred. He silently cursed the misfortune of being so relaxed just before this happened... and he was also feeling vicariously embarrassed for the poor angel. I don't think anyone deserves to have this much stress all at once. By the Abyss, these nymphs have awful timing.

Thankfully, the river nymph was quick to cover up once he realized what had happened, taking Yang's offered shirt after uttering a few invectives about the situation. The merman gave a sympathetic smile to the nymph, but he really didn't have anything else, not even encouraging words. No, he'd leave that stuff to Dexter; the angel was far better at it than he was. Also less likely to make things worse. Heck, he'd made Yang feel loads better by helping with his pranks!

He couldn't help rolling his eyes at Arazia's snarky comments, though. "Yes, because you have such a high opinion of me, Arazia," he sighed. "But you're welcome, River. Keep it as long as you need; I'm fine without a shirt. Heck, I think I only wear one normally as a courtesy to everyone else." That didn't stop the red-haired nymph from dragging the guy to get another swimsuit. Yang could only sigh at how pushy Arazia was, slumping over his knees at the sudden stress that had been piled on them in the last few minutes alone. "Daaaaaang... how'd we end up in this situation, Dex? I honestly can't think of the moment where we went from pranking to helping River with an abnormal mammary issue."

As the nymphs returned to the beach, Yang gladly took his shirt back from Shasta. He once again rolled his eyes at Arazia's over-the-top introduction, internally thinking of ways he could've made such an introduction even more dramatic and hilarious to watch. "Welp..." the merman said, directing his attention to the male-turned-female nymph. "On the bright side, you make a pretty girl. Can't deny that."

Yang was putting his shirt back on when he felt a shiver go up his spine, followed by a drop in the temperature. What in the...? He pulled his shirt closer to his body and glanced around, trying to figure out what had just happened. "Did anyone else just feel that? Was a cloud just passing overhead and we just couldn't see it? It just got really cold for some reason."

Filling up space with BATMAN DANANANA!Don't remove me. :]

Dexter was back to where he normally was on any given day in the course of mere seconds-worrying about damage control for his friends and wondering what the heck was going on in their personal time! That shouldn't have been a normal thing for a person to think about but for the angel, it was. So much for my day off... It was nice while it lasted. He couldn't blame Shasta for...suddenly becoming a girl though. That was beyond anyone's control and God help him for thinking about the situation in such a calm matter! One of his friends just turned into a girl! Again! I am REALLY getting way too used to some of the weird things that go on around here! Yang was helpful in covering Shasta up before anyone could see him and draw more attention and Arazia-after being a little insensitive to...everyone-was surprisingly helpful as well. She offered to clothe her nymph cousin in something a little appropriate in his (hopefully) temporary form and the two went off together. The angel followed Yang's example then and sunk down for a bit of a sit down and a deep breath. His story about his chase around the island of Japan had lightened his mood quite a bit...but the two boys had to agree-there was suddenly a lot of things to deal with right now. "I...honestly don't know. Things like this...just have a way to find me. Give trouble enough time and it'll come and find me. You just got involved by hanging out with me today. It normally happens with Tyler so today is your lucky day." The angel felt like he sounded a touch bitter by the recent events of the afternoon. "I can't complain-I'm happy to help when I can. But I really would like a normal day off and a chance to relax and maybe spend time with Tayte." Especially spend time with Tayte in all honesty...

Arazia came back with Shasta in a new swimsuit-a bikini of all things! And...it was honestly pretty nice to see. Arazia could have done without the pomp and ceremony and humiliating her cousin but there was no way to stop that at the time. Dexter was just happy to see Shasta covered up...or...at least where people weren't going to stare at him...okay,people were going to stare. "I have to agree with Yang. You are pretty cute as a girl. We'll have to keep an eye on you until you're back to normal-you may pick up a guy or two." Partly a joke, partly a legitimate promise. "I'm...REALLY going to need to talk to Saria now about experimenting on friends. Or on anyone!" I shouldn't have to even say that to her nowadays! "Any idea where she is?" Searching the beach, Dexter thought that she would still be around (he and Yang ran past her and the girls some time ago) and looked towards where her blanket was last seen. The purple haired witch was still at her spot, along with Sveta...and there was Tyler...butt naked...right in front of them. "Oh,for the love of-! TYLER! PUT SOME PANTS ON!!!" Lulu was already on top of that with a pair of shorts thrown at the werewolf's head so Dexter only had to worry about the talking to Saria part of what was going on in that general direction. Honestly, the angel didn't want to think about the circumstances for Tyler ending up naked in front of some girls right now. He could bother the werewolf about that later when there was less on his plate! Now he could talk to Saria about what happened to Shasta. Except...Yang brought up something more concerning. "Cold?" The air was indeed getting colder...and something else was going on. Something that was making the feathers in the angel's wings shake. Not shiver but shake. Scanning the beach, ignoring everything else in search of the source of the cold,Dexter felt like it had the potential of getting worse if not attended to right away... "Do any of you see anything out of the ordinary?"

Shasta gave his two friends a deep glare. The last thing he needed was to have the two of them give him the thumbs up to his current predicament. Still, there was no denying that the blood of his people meant exactly that. He was beautiful. "Thanks y'all..." he said coldly to the two. The river nymph pushed his cousin away as she was being a prat. "Arazia, behave yerself..." Shasta just had to thank his lucky stars that he was capable of defending himself against anybody who might cop a feel.

Arazia stuck her tongue out at Shasta. "Am behaving..." Her attention was drawn by Dexter's call towards his werewolf friend. The maenad looked over at Tyler and his buff form before Lulu had a chance to wrangle him. "Hmm, Nice view..." she said. However, like the others, she was suddenly distracted by the drop in temperature.

Shasta, however, was oblivious to the dropping temperature. Instead, he was distracted by another odd phenomena. From a single area of the beach, several birds, mostly seagulls, were making a beeline out away from over the nearby rise. "Uh, that is pretty outta the ordinary..." the naiad waited until one of the birds was within earshot and called out in a language that none save another animal talker would recognize. For Shasta, it was a strange instinctive language that he could use when he wanted, even though he didn't quite understand how he was able. The birds response startled the nymph. "He says a transparent man is going berserk down the beach..."

Arazia looked at the three boys. "Um. Transparent boy am mean ghost, si?" she only knew one ghost boy. In fact, there were only a few ghosts attending the school. It wasn't that they weren't welcome, it was simply a matter of numbers. A few races were far more common than others, and ghosts required special circumstances to not pass into the next life. "Cyrus?" she asked tentatively. Arazia wasn't going to get involved in a fight, but she also knew that if the ghost boy was involved, his guilt would make him a very pliable target for a bit of manipulation.

The naiad turned towards Dexter and Yang. "Ah dunno about you, but ah'm gonna find out for certain." He hustled as quickly as his altered frame would comfortably let him. He had discovered last time that running had some very painful side effects, and he wasn't about to have another wardrobe malfunction.

~*~ιησυє кιкυ~*~

Kiku began to consider the classes that he had taken; perhaps those would be a good place to tour around first, as he would be visiting those rooms nigh every day during his attendance of the school.

“Well...” he started, “I take Fantastical History, English...mostly academic stuff. I can only think of Combat Training that would be away from the main building, perhaps we should start with--”

Kiku was cut off by the eruption of the ghost boy – his eyes widened when he saw a completely black form; he was no expert on ghosts, by any means whatsoever, but something told him that wasn't the best thing...

The Nekojin's keen ears had caught a bit of the conversation before the explosion of Cyrus' temper; he couldn't say he necessarily blamed him for shouting at the obnoxious boy who was spouting obscene remarks about Asthore – Kiku may not have known her for very long, but from what he had witnessed of the Fey woman, she certainly did not fit the description of – nor deserve – the crude remarks he had made about her. Had it been his place to, Kiku would have stepped in to defend Fey the woman.

Who was this person to objectify a respectable lady in such a way?

His gaze turned back towards Asthore, a worried expression across it.

Had she heard what the Homunculus had said? Kiku's ears were quite keen in comparison to a human, but as for comparing his hearing to a Fey, he had no idea.

How would she feel about the way he had spoken about her?

He hoped she wouldn't be hurt by one idiot's arrogant comments. He also wished people would keep their unkind words and thoughts to themselves, joking or not. That, at least, did not least to instances such as this. The Nekojin felt uneasy; his first day and it looked as though the Armageddon was coming.

Good start.

SHUTUP One of the fey, within the dark and gloom we'll find our way...

SHUTUPANDDANCE Mood: Sad, Happy, Confused.

Asthore was enjoying her conversation with Kiku right now. There was nothing complicated about it, there were no expectations needed from her; she could simply be. The fey woman waited patiently as Kiku listed out the classes he was taking this semester, and it turned out they had a class in common.

But it would seem something caught the Nekojin's attention and the conversation seemed to stop. Asthore had slightly better hearing than a human did, but she could not really hear the conversation going on between Cyrus and Vincent. She could hear the tone, but not the words. The feeling she got from them made her turn her head in their direction. She had not realized Vincent was still at the beach, since she had run off from him she had assumed he might have found someone else to hang out with. Asthore had also not realized Cyrus was so close by, since she had run off when she noticed him earlier.

She was being really silly, running away from him like she had.

She could not run away from him forever, Valencia was a small place and sooner or later she would have to talk to him again.

But something about this situation right now sent shivers down her spine. Not the good shivered either, these were the cold shivers and hair standing on end that meant something bad was coming.

"Cyrus," the fey woman breathed the ghosts name like a sigh on the wind. What was happening to him? She may not be able to see with her eyes, but the aura sparks she was getting right now were dark and angry. Something had happened to set the ghost off this much. But what could that have been? Had Vincent said something? She had to rethink her opinion of the homunculus if he was able to anger Cyrus this much then he might not be trustworthy at all.

"Kiku... you hear better than I can, do you know what was said to make Cyrus so angry?" she was worried, and about ready to bolt to her friend any moment. But she also wanted to know what was said, at least in part. She did not want to upset the ghost anymore than he already was, and she was not sure how to calm him down either. She was at a loss as to what to do, and her face showed for a moment that desperation she felt.

Please... Cyrus... I pray you may return to normal soon. And if this is because of me, then I am terribly sorry for causing you such pain.

~*~ιησυє кιкυ~*~

The Nekojin really didn't want to relay the crass way Vincent had spoken about her, but he felt she deserved the truth. Besides, there was no reason for her to be angry with him for relaying the words to her; he was only a bystander, after all.

“Yes, Asthore-san...”
he sighed, “The man who was speaking to him had made some very...disrespectful remarks about your appearance.”

Granted, Kiku found her very attractive, but he certainly wouldn't dream of something of that nature involving her; it seemed so presumptuous of the Homunculus to do so!

“He made some...” he paused, looking for the right words, “Sexual comments. The ghost didn't take kindly to that. I believe he said something along the lines of 'his mistake not being an invitation', whatever that means...” He shrugged nervously. He was trying to sound as impartial as possible so as not to rouse an angered response from her, or worse, make her even more worried than she was right now. Such might cause the situation to escalate.

Being new, Kiku had no idea about the relations between the three. He assumed perhaps, that there was a romantic involvement between the ghost and fey, such justifying Cyrus' rage upon hearing such remarks. But it wouldn't be surprising if they were only very close friends. He had only just met Asthore, after all, and he still felt disgusted on her behalf. The Fey woman certainly deserved much more respect than to be spoken about – behind her back, no less – in such a demeaning manner!

He felt a bit of worry for the ghost, though. Was this black form a sign of corruption? If Asthore thought kindly of the boy, he must have been a good person at heart. He hoped that he could be calmed, at any rate. Blowing up half of the beach in a rage was sure to land him in quite a bit of trouble...and could put many others in potential danger.

This situation certainly wasn't looking good by any means...

Don't touch me! D: Because. Yes, because is an answer. If you're reading this, you owe Arrivederci Pandah xx ice cream. Mint chocolate chip please. :]

This-This is fine! This is totally fine! No reason to be nervous about a girl putting sunscreen on another girl! Nope-no reason at all! Definitely won't be out of the ordinary to anyone! And-And I shouldn't think of it as out of the ordinary either! Nothing unusual at all! Despite chanting lines of this nature over and over again in her mind, it was hard for Sveta to remain calm. She asked Saria to put sunscreen on her back thinking it would be no big deal but the more Sveta thought about it, the more powerful the implications of that offer became! The action was always something couples did for each other in movies and on television and beyond that...it meant Saria getting to touch Sveta! With slippery hands! It's something that couples on TV always enjoyed! But the homunculus couldn't take back her request-Saria said yes after all and it would have been rude to change her mind. So...Sveta would just have to keep reciting that the situation would be no big deal. Do I...Do I have to untie my swimsuit top?! The homunculus almost turned bright red at the idea! For one, it meant almost being naked (or being more so naked) in front of Saria in such a compromising position! And another...it was the first time she would have been doing such a thing in public! Other girls appeared to have been fine with untying such straps and strings to tan without lines along the beach...but they weren't Sveta. Stories of nude beaches throughout parts of Europe should have cured the homunculus of such anxieties about public nudity but...she was still Sveta, the girl raised by nuns. Saria was game for applying sunscreen on her back all the same so Sveta-again-would chant and pretend. "O-Okay." The witch didn't ask her to untie anything as she was asked to lay down so the homunculus didn't go for her straps or strings. She just laid down on her stomach, folded her arms under her chin and waited for Saria to start. Is...Is Saria...going to have to sit on my back for this?

Thinking that it would help, Sveta decided to close her eyes and wait for Saria to start. "M-Make sure that the sunscreen isn't cold, please!" What sense did that make?! None really...but the homunculus had to say something! Just keep your eyes closed and wait for Saria to start! So she closed her eyes and waited...almost holding her breath for that initial first contact of the witch's hands on her skin or a small glob of sunscreen...yeah, a small glob of sun-"EEEEEEE!!!" Not a small glob! Not a small glob! The homunuculus pushed her top half off of the ground in reaction to the large splash of sunscreen against her back, eyes flung wide open. "What was that for?! Saria, why did you-" The cause of the witch's actions was standing right in front of them. Tyler was...he was just...HE WAS NAKED! And Sveta could see...EVERYTHING! A low pitched sound started to emit from the homunculus before it got louder and pushed its way out from behind her lips, growing louder and higher in pitch until it turned into a high pitched scream! "AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Saria was in the same mindset as Sveta and reacted in about the same way. The witch threw the bottle of sunscreen at the naked werewolf and hit him in his...well...parts... Somewhere in the background there came Lulu with a pair of shorts for the boy-which she threw at his head at the same time the homunculus threw back her arm for a slap. And just not a normal slap (that would have been impossible for her since she was still on the ground)-this was an extra stretchy power slap! Her hand and arm went back some ways before coming back around and slapping Tyler right across the face! The poor wolf boy went down before Sveta realized what she had done. "AH! Tyler! I'm-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-I'm so sorry!" Sveta quickly turned herself around and buried her burning red face into Saria's shoulder. "I'm sorry..."

Please leave this space empty, otherwise the format won't look right. SPAM TIIIME. DANANANANA! BATMAAANN. Whoever sees me must make Arrivederci Pandah xx a sammich. A turkey sammich. With cheese and jalapenos and pickles and olives and all that good stuff. :]

Those dreams that people had where they showed up naked in public and were horribly humiliated by that...Tyler never had those dreams. At least where he was embarrassed by his nudity in any way, shape or form. But now...now he understood what those people felt during those dreams. Only...only now, it was his own particular brand of horrible. Of all of the girls I could have run into butt naked on this beach I had to run into the one I slept with under a drug induced state and the protected maiden of God Himself!?! Really, if there was anything the werewolf had done in his life worth punishing, having run into Saria and Sveta in this particular state of being had to be his punishment! What did I do to deserve this?!? For the first time in a long time, Tyler was too stunned to move. His brain was scrambling for a way out of the situation in a way that didn't make him seem like an idiot or a freak or a pervert...but he was coming up with nothing! Come on,brain! We're both in this together so get to work! "Uh-Uh..." Rabbits caught under the werewolf's gaze worked faster under pressure than he was right now! What knocked the werewolf back into his senses was Saria and Sveta's combined screaming! "CRAP!" Before Tyler had the chase to flee, the girls started up their counterattack. Saria threw the first thing she could grab at him-which happened to be a bottle of sunscreen. And she threw it in a way that nailed him square in the junk. "OOF!!!" And then-to make matters even worse-Tyler heard Lulu's voice from behind him. And he was essentially mooning her! [********]

Cringing at what Lulu was likely to do to him (and from the pain of taking a bottle of sunscreen to the junk), Tyler was ready to curl up and die right there on the beach when something wet slapped him in the head. What the- It looked like Lulu's swim shorts,it smelled like Lulu's swim shorts...Good God, they were Lulu's swim shorts! My girlfriend just threw an article of clothing at my head! And it was close enough to be like panties- Then came the slap. Tyler had only ever seen Sveta do that...stretch thing with her limbs once before, during the masked ball some semesters ago when she gave it good to Addy. Now he was on the receiving end of a slap that could be heard-and possibly seen if she stretched it far enough-around the world. It was enough to knock the joy of Lulu throwing her pants at Tyler's head clear out of his skull and send him spinning before he was sent crashing down to the sand. "Oh,owww..." The werewolf's cheek pulsed with a stinging pain, there were a pair of shorts wrapped around his head and he was still naked around a sweet innocent girl and Saria-who he swore would never see him naked again! Today...really sucks now... "It's...It's okay,Sveta...I probably deserved that...owww... You really pack a wallop though." Did anyone else have anything to do to him? Tyler had to wonder that before he could fully get up and get on with his day...
