Personality |

Snow can be described as shy, intelligent, and ultimately friendly. She's always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever asks, and is okay with talking to people in one on one situations. Although it doesn't effect her as badly anymore, being in situations with lots of people can shut her down. When she is being attacked, she can shut down the more nervous part of her brain down and become cold and focused on the task at hand.

History |

No one really knows where Snow came from. Just that one day, her adoptive parents Michael and Cindy Donahue where out and about in the snow and found her apparently 5 year old body buried. They took her back home with them, and decided on raising her, since they knew she couldn't be anyone's child from their small town in the frozen north. The named her Snow from where they had found her, and attempted to raise her like a normal child. It was pretty clear soon, however, that she wasn't. She wouldn't age normally. Years would pass before she'd ever get considerably taller, or older. But this didn't faze them at all. They still raised her to the best of her ability, and eventually her father gave her the nickname of "Ice Fairy". Eventually Snow made it out of the hump of childhood, but her parents had gone into their elderly years.

When Snow was "13" years old, her mother died, and her father went into a downward spiral. At this time Snow would spend a lot of time in her namesake, where she felt the most calm. It was then that she discovered her powers over water, more specifically ice. She practiced hard at her gift, hoping that it would cheer up her father. But when she attempted to show him, tragedy happened. She lost control of the ice, and a random piece struck her father in the head and killed him. At first, Snow didn't even realize what had happened, just that Michael had stopped responding. She tried to wake him up, but nothing worked. Eventually, people came to check up on him, since he hadn't been seen in a while. Snow hid, as she wasn't used to people, and watched the people. It turned out that her father had died, and more people had come to take away her father. There was some talk about her, but nobody bothered to look for her. They hardly knew the girl, and expected her to be a lot older than she really was. Snow ran off into the wilderness once all the people had left, and worked on perfecting the gift that had killed her father. She survived by hunting animals using ice to kill them, and stealing from various people she came across. She figured out that in the snow, she didn't need to eat quite as often, so it wasn't much of a problem.

She'd gotten a pretty good grip on her powers when the letters had come from the "Element Master's High School". She figured that it would be a good way to hone her powers even better, because she was still prone to those random freak outs that had killed her father. After figuring out where exactly the high school was, she made her way over there, eager to see what her new life would be like.

Personality |

To people who appear human, Gabriel is the perfect gentleman. He's kind, witty, and more than willing to go the extra mile for someone who's in need. However, his dark side comes out when he's faced with someone who isn't entirely human. He can be cold, clipped, and at times downright hostile. He as a deep-running prejudice that was instilled into him by his father. Outside of his treatment of other people, he is a hard worker and a perfectionist who will spend hours on something until he is sure it is absolutely correct.

History |

The Bradford family is one of the noble families of Aeston. Gabriel's own ancestors fought in the Phantom War, and passed down a tradition of military strength. Since Queen Cordelia Academy was first established, every generation of the Bradford family has attended it's illustrious halls.

Gabriel is the firstborn of the Bradford family, and therefore heir to its titles and grounds. His father, Ashton Bradford, was delighted that his firstborn was a son and spent all his time on Gabriel, moreso than his other 3 children. From a young age Gabriel was drilled in proper etiquette, swordplay, and knowledge of history. Gabriel's father was a stern teacher who didn't leave much room for error, especially as Gabriel got older. Aside from the traditional learnings, Ashford taught his son less savory ideals: that those creatures who were not human, were less than human. That they were basically animals who had mastered speech, and used magic as a shortcut for hard work. Gabriel absorbed all this information and accepted it as fact, never thinking to doubt his father's words.

When Gabriel was 15, his father finally decided to send him to Queen Cordelia Academy. Gabriel enrolled in the School of Knighthood, like so many generations of his family before him had. Upon arrival to the school, he was surprised by just how many non-human people were enrolled. If they were basically animals with speech, how were they smart enough to get into this academy? Other such inconsistencies have shown up in his previous two years at the school, but Gabriel clung resolutely to the lessons his father had taught him. He is now entering his third year at Queen Cordelia Academy, where hopefully his mind will be broadened to accept those who are not like himself.

xxxxxxxxx█ On the surface, Angelo seems calm, collected, and confident. It only takes a short conversation with him, however, to find out he is neither of these things. He's so afraid of messing things up that it'll become a self-fulfilling prophecy no matter how careful he tries to be. He's constantly worried about the small things, so much that he berates himself mercilessly if something is even only the slightest bit wrong. However, towards other people he is extremely kind and considerate. He doesn't want other people to feel the way his father made him feel. Since arriving at the school, his confidence has grown in leaps and bounds, although people wouldn't guess it conversing with him.

xxxxxxxxx█ Siren- Angelo has the ability to affect the actions of people through specific song. If he sings a hypnotic song, he can put a person in a trance. If he sings a lullaby, he can put a person to sleep. He has songs that can paralyze people, which he can use on those who are too animated to put in a trance, for example. As a last resort, he has songs that he can sing to inflict damage, psychologically and physically, on another person. The effect only lasts as long as he is able to continue singing. As soon as he stops singing, the spell is broken, and it is considerably harder to regain control on whoever he was manipulating. Those with stronger wills are also able to fight back against his control.

xxxxxxxxx█ Angelo was born the second child and first son of Rick and Emi Eaton. Emi doted on her son, constantly calling him her "perfect little boy". Their life was a fairly typical one--white picket fence in the suburbs, enough money to afford a summer trip every year. Everything changed when Angelo was six, however. As their mom was picking them up from school, they got hit by a distracted driver. He ran a red light, t-boning the car and killing Emi and Tessa, Angelo's sister. Angelo managed to escape the accident relatively unharmed, except for a few scrapes and bruises and a broken arm.

The death of Emi and Tessa completely destroyed Rick. Tessa was his darling little girl, and his favorite of their two children. He turned bitter and dark, furious at the universe for taking his wife and daughter. He turned on Angelo, using the his poor son as an outlet for his anger. He would constantly berate Angelo for just about anything. How dare Angelo not get 100% on his spelling tests? How dare he not open a can correctly? How dare he leave even a single crumb on the counter after he cleaned the whole house? It seemed that basically everything Angelo did, was wrong in his father's eyes. The worst insult for Angelo was, by far, one his father was very fond of repeating: it should have been you that died, not Tessa.

In order to escape his oppressive household, Angelo would take frequent walks in the nearby forest. It was a place to be alone, with only his thoughts and his emotions, and truly be enough for someone for once. But his absence only seemed to enrage his father more, who considered Angelo to be slacking off from his responsibilities. To try and come up with more legitimate excuses to be out of the house, Angelo joined his middle school choir, and it was there that he discovered his power. After singing a particularly sad solo, Angelo was surprised to find that the rest of the choir, and the director as well, were in tears. He thought at first that he had just done an excellent job at his part and legitimately moved the crowd. After the class fell asleep after he sung a lullaby, however, he realized his true power.

At home, Angelo used his newfound ability to his utmost. Every time Rick would become especially angry, Angelo would sing a lullaby and put his father to sleep. When Rick found out that his son was manipulating him, however, he became enraged and ambushed Angelo. He beat his 12 year old son so badly that Angelo had to be hospitalized. His father tried to claim that Angelo had just "fallen down the stairs", despite the injuries being inconsistent with such an accident. Angelo could see the concern the doctors and nurses had for him, and revealed the abuse he had been facing since his mother died. He was removed from his father's custody and placed with his maternal Aunt, Meiko.

Meiko had a hard time at first adjusting to the boy who would flinch at her shadow. She realized that she couldn't be as stern with him as she was with her own children, instead she had to be patient and let him work things out for himself. She praised him whenever he would do something correctly, desperately trying to undo the years of abuse his father had laid upon him. It worked to some extent, Angelo gained more confidence and his grades started to get better. For the first time, he started looking towards what he wanted to do with his future. Inspired by his aunt, who was formerly the pro hero "Shobu", he decided to look into becoming a pro hero. He wanted to become a beacon of hope to people who were downtroden and abused like he had been, and to help people who were in sincere need. He applied to Levane Academy, and was accepted. He is currently in his third year at the school.

☠Personality:♦ While always trying to be kind and sincere, Lila has a slightly rebellious soul and nature. She doesn't like to be held down by routine and expectations, and will do her best to break out of them at any time. She can be a little flaky, either from forgetting commitments she made, or simply refusing to attend to them. She also has an adventurous spirit, loving to meet new people and discover new places and things. She generally keeps a mild and meek facade on around unknown people, and only lets her true nature be shown to people she is familiar with.
☠History:♦ Lila's story starts with her father, Amos Carlyle, a traveling merchant. While traveling, he met Lila's mother, Bianca. The two fell in love and got married, and eventually had Lila's older brother, Rowan. Amos, deciding that his wife and newborn child shouldn't be forced to travel around with him, had them settled in Engsir. It seemed the perfect choice to him--it was a large city, protected by the mountains and waterfalls, and was only a little farther than a two day walk from the capital city of Vasesite. It didn't matter to him then that it was at the essential end of the kingdom--the swirling waters of the waterfalls made the place seem enchanted in his eyes.

He continued to travel as a merchant, starting his journey in Engsir buying goods, traveling the country selling and buying what he could, and finishing by selling the last of his stock in Engsir. During this period, he and Bianca had three more children, Lila, Rosa, and Calla. As the firstborn girl, Lila grew up with the heavy expectation on her head of marrying well. From a young age she was trained to be the perfect wife, to cook and clean and make conversation and host dinner parties. She was always resistant to this idea, however, and enjoyed sneaking away when she could. She would spend her time swimming in the calm waters below the waterfalls, and exploring her home city with her sisters.

As Lila and her family grew older, however, the city they had settled in grew smaller and smaller. People didn't like living near the dangerous mountain range and the unknown beyond it. Her father began losing money on his trips, as he couldn't start off with as much goods to sell. He was contemplating moving his family from their longtime home when the unthinkable happened--the Prince had been stabbed with a cursed dagger and put in eternal sleep. The king declared that all the cursed items in the kingdom must be found, to try and revive the heir. Amos took this opportunity to tune into a new market--cursed items. Using a portion of his remaining money, Amos began searching for cursed items, in the hope of actually finding one and selling it to the King and Queen for a reward.

As their family fortune was growing more and more depleted, Lila was growing more and more rebellious. She'd tune out lessons, sneak out of the house more often, and fought back against punishment. Realizing that they were getting no where with her, Amos and Bianca decided on a new course of action. Amos, leaving for his next expedition, took Lila with him. He figured going out on a journey around the country would give Lila the independence she desired, while also keeping her under close watch. He eventually plans on leaving her in his second home in the capitol, Vasesite, where she will have to take care of herself.
☠Skills:♦ Raised to be the perfect wife, Lila has a wide array of domestic skills, including sewing, cooking and baking, singing, dancing, and playing the flute. She can also read and white, and is quite proficient at swimming.
☠Flaws:♦ While Lila knows how to read, she doesn't know how to synthesize and argument out of what she read or make any significant commentary on it. She can only spit out what she took in, without any ideas of her own. Despite being the daughter of a merchant, she is awful at arithmetic and knowing what is a good or bad deal.

☠Personality:♦ On the surface, Daphne appears bright, bubbly, and just a little bit vapid. She always tries to appear optimistic, and aims to brighten a room with her presence. In a sense, these are all true traits of Daphne, but only skim her surface. She's incredibly intelligent and duty-bound. When not trying to impress a group of people, she's calm, sober, and mature. She can be one to receive wise council from, if one can see past her vapid act.
☠History:♦ Daphne was born into the noble Bellcomb family, from far in the south in Azegell. After a series of failed pregnancies and miscarriages, Daphne's father was ecstatic to have a surviving child. Eschewing family tradition of having the male son inherit, he named Daphne his heir, and from a young age raised her to take over his position as head of their household. He taught her diplomacy, politics, war strategies, and everything she would need to know to take his place.

As Daphne got older, her father began to receive invitations for her hand in marriage. He rejected them all, uninterested in marrying his heir off to just anyone. That is, until he received a request from the King himself. Already ailing, the King saw Daphne as a good match for his son that would soon take his place. Seeing an advancement for Daphne's place, and therefor his family line's place, in society, he accepted after a brief discussion with Daphne. She began preparing for her life as queen of the nation, taking extra history lessons and learning more about the royal court system. She threw herself into the studies, knowing how important it was to be knowledgeable, especially since she was older than the prince.

A week before his coronation ceremony, Daphne left on the long journey north to Vaesite. She arrived the morning of the coronation, and was set to meet with her fiance after the ceremony. Tragedy befell, however, and Daphne watched in horror as her future husband was stabbed and ended up in an enchanted sleep. Writing to her parents to ask what to do, they said she must remain in Vaesite until the prince either woke up, or died. They weren't going to lose their chance at marrying into the royal family, so in Vaesite Daphne had to stay. On the advice of her mother, she managed to secure a position for herself as an assistant nurse for the comatose prince. She spends most of her day watching over the comatose prince, away from home and separated from friends. She finds herself a bit lost in the castle, not quite sure of what position she fills in the vacuum created by the loss of the prince.
