It's actually even worse than Vegas. Casinos in Vegas are regulated by the govt, and have to run fair games; slot machines, for instance, are guaranteed to pay out a minimum amount over a certain period of time (though obviously the gamblers aren't privy to the info on how much the machine they're playing has already paid or how long it's gone without paying). Gaia has no such rules.

That isn't why I came here, I came here because the wording in that announcement is misleading. The "could" in that announcement is referring to the diamond being so fragile that you "COULD" crack it right open. It is misleading. Not only to long time users, but to new users and to users who just wanted to buy a single GG because they're running short on gold, and why wouldn't they if they're promised a high payout? Who wouldn't want a high payout? I implore the people that are saying "omg ur inflatin de economy!1!11" To shut up and listen to yourselves, because if you were offered a raise at your job of a certain amount and then it suddenly became an issue of, "You *COULD* earn this much," versus "You are going to earn this much." I bet you'd all piss and whine about it and go back whinging to your parents/spouses/friends/bosses.

This exactly, the wording on the anouncment made it sound like there was a minimum in the trillions, thus false advertising. This is a legit complaint.

As for the cries of 'ruining the economy' I wonder how many of them would easily do the same/have done the same by grinding booty grab and zOMG back in the day....

The announcement is misleading, but like most people said, it's well known Gold Generators rarely give out a decent amount, that they are a chance item and that you're not guaranteed the max payout said in the announcement. In fact, the payout will be much, much less.
If you don't mind spending money, I suggest you buy an item next time, those go for a lot more than the GG's will get you.
I'm not gonna say "omg you are screwing up the economy like that!!!" because I know that if the users don't do it, Gaia will do it itself.
