~ Sayuri ~
Six.
The humming stopped, and she cracked open an eye to look at the guest in front of her. Young. Lavishly dressed. And scared. Like half of the visitors that she saw.
"Ah, Lady Blackbird! I wouldn't be in here alone."
One of the workers of the shop had joined Victoria in the room. A large man, with enough scars on his arm to prove that he had experience handling the toughest of slaves that went through the shop.
"This is a free-form shapeshifter. Not sure how we got her, but the manager's got her ways. Don't know her name. Came in a week ago. Don't know much about her 'cause she doesn't do much. Just sits there humming now and then. Put the standard collar on her."
The worker chuckled when he remembered that his coworker had suggested that they sold her off to the zoo or something. On record, she has been the only shapeshifter caught in the rumble that happened way back when. If more were caught, they didn't know about it. Any zoo would pay good money to have the only something in the world.
When the worker came in, Sayuri closed her eye again, and remained silent. She didn't want to do anything to encourage the visitor to buy her, nor could she do much to chase her away, being chained so tightly against the wall.
Maybe she'll just go away on her own...
