yay!!! okay that sounds awesome.... and i was thinking today while walking
back from my classes, and i was wondering if i could make avery invisible
and have super strength. it's chill if she can't have both--then i'll probs just
give her invisibility. i just think it'd be a sick plot device, because she could
overhear s**t, and she's always stealing so it'd come in hella handy.

i'm not trying to make her all powerful! i just want to make her even more
mischievous! xD i could make one power a lot weaker than they other though.
like maybe she's really good at controlling invisibility but she sucks at controlling
her strength--e.g. it only comes out when she's pissed or scared. or vice versa
with the invisibility.

it could also be pretty sick if avery was invisible because maybe caera can't see
her in all of her dreams, so when they first meet she has no clue who avery is.
or not. idk.

and yes!! avery and emerson will definitely break her out. it will be a riot. avery
is going to be incredibly rude and insensitive, so be ready for her to call caera
psycho girl/crazy girl the whole time. because of course avery isn't too fond of
the fact that caera is in all of her dreams. and also she calls s**t as she sees it.
and emerson will be embarrassed at his crazy sister, and then treating caera
like an absolute gentleman, despite the fact that they just broke into a mental
asylum, get ready for the awkward that is emerson, it will be wonderful. i might
even have him have a bit of a crush on her or something. i mean she is his literal
dream girl.

nothing too serious though, cause he can be painfully shy and awkward with girls.

and i think i might have avery jump on the best friend lol tbh. it will be the shallowest
of all crushes, and i can see avery acting a lot more mature than her age and lit-
erally trying to seduce him.

but if they get to the u.s. then i can continue with the cruise ship plan xD

I think having super strength and invisibility are a bit much for one character, but maybe she can go slightly invisible, like there would still remain a shimmer of of her body form? Like not completely gone but not completely there. Like when you think you see something out of the corner of your eye? Does that make sense lol? XD

Also the emerson crush on caera would be totes adorbs, though caera is quite weird lol. I'm debating making a second character, like a side kick or even a baddie.

i know, i'm thinking it might be a bit much for one character too,
but i just think it would be awesome. i don't know though. maybe
it'd be more of a badge of honor for her if she stole while remaining
visible.

i know that one of avery's central conflicts is going to be her guilt,
she feels responsible for being abandoned by her parents, and be-
lieves that she constantly ruins things. so, having super strength
but not invisibility might be good because she craves to be invisible,
but all she's ever done and been able to do is to destroy things--at
least, in her mind.

yes! haha emerson and caeraaaa! he's going to be very hush-hush
about it, though. of course avery will know and ******** yell it from the
mountaintops, but emerson isn't going to give much of an indication
as to whether she's right or not, other than being awkward af.

I don't mind if you give her invisibility powers. The thing about this role play is that all the powers should be psychic, so directly controlled by the character's mind. They can't just be superpowers that the characters were born with. So if she has both super-strength and invisibility, that's fine, but if she uses them a lot, then it should mentally wear her out.

Psychic super strength is generally related to energy manipulation, so maybe... she has the ability to manipulate things at a molecular level? That way she can change the molecules immediately surrounding her to reflect her environment, therefore make her invisible. But like River suggested, it would make sense if you could still sort of see her when she moves or something... like a shimmer (after all, if she's just reflecting her environment, then she'd be like a large mirror).

can i ask what powers have been "taken" in a
sense? I know some psi moves can be among
multiple people but i'd like to know who "has" what
so i can base my character's powers off of them,
so they aren't too similar hahaha.

Alright, well...
I personally worked my characters into a certain power stereotype, so Haden is going to be "defensive" (shielding, reading objects, maybe some healing, etc.) with minor elemental control.
And Pepin doesn't have psi powers, so he operates on being cunning.

Caera also seems like she's more of a supporter, having abilities like projecting in dreams and reading the past, etc.

Avery's main powers are invisibility and strength, I believe, and Emerson's uses his intelligence.

guise i only got three hours of sleep today. and i have
an advisory meeting soon. do not want. five page paper
in one night. god. it was so miserable. and i worked that
day so i had to do it all after eight o'clock. :'(

i'm so tired.

i just slept in one of the chairs at my university. like cuddling
with my backpack so no one steals my s**t.

ugh, i can't even begin to imagine. i am going to go to graduate school
eventually, but thankfully i'm not dealing with that yet. what are you
majoring in?

that's okay though! I can adjust lol, totally fine by
me. I just automatically assumed since we are
playing like a game from japan and they have all
this supernatural stuff

or like a european (prob german or something,
i have most experience with german names and
chinese names)
like using yiyi or emily rudd as a model idek
i should probably create a name
