The prize for completing 50k words on the original NaNoWriMo
is 5 free copies of your novel, all you have to pay is shipping.

Why would you need 5 copies?

Hey everybody! Y'all can call me Blue or Dragon but most just call me Blue since it shorter. I'm a newbie in NaNoWriMo, even though I've known about it for a couple of years. I decided that, this year I would go on and do it since I'm no longer in school. I graduated high school back in June and have decided to take an indefinite break from school to make my own way in life.
So far, I'm loving it! I have terrible focus (I have SOO many characters and so many distractions in my head, it's hard to focus on one singular thing at a time) and so I haven't really written as often as I wanted, but for NaNoWriMo I'm working on reaching my goal! I'm so happy. I haven't written this much back to back since I started on one of my other stories, To Write Love On Her Arms, my junior year of high school.

How's your novels going?
My story is moving unbelievably slowly but my word count is okay... This story is already longer than other story I've ever written. xp

Yeah, that's what I adore about my best friend. She also writes and while she really only does script form, amazing things come when we start bouncing ideas off of each other. Once we get started, the ideas just go back and forth.
It happens with my other writer friends as well, but not in the same way with my best friend. You have a friend like that?
Oh and also, how's NaNoWriMo coming along for you? I'm just a wee bit behind, but so long as I keep working on it, even if it's just a couple hundred words at a time, I'm sure I'll be caught up today. Or at least almost caught up but I'm aiming to have all 6,666 words and maybe then some written today. I'm currently at 5,225. smile

My friends right, but Ideas don't bounce between us.
It's more like I enhance what my best friend has with my ideas >.<;;
My sister and I are working on NaNo together this year though.
We're writing two stories with the same setting,
but from the point of view of different characters,
so we give each other ideas and work together.
NaNos going extremely slow for me I keep getting distracted
and am playing catch up.
I still only have 1,174 words >.<;;

Oh wow. I'm sure that would be me if I wasn't motivated for it. To be perfectly honestly, I had a slight headstart, but nothing big. I ended up counting a later part I wrote for my story Hell Angel a while back but then decided I was going to redo it when I got to it so I had to catch up to the number. I got REALLY behind on Day 2 with maybe only half of what I was supposed to write so now I'm trying to catch up.

I'm motivated, just have a lot on plate ^^;;
Unfortunately, all my teachers refused to give me the months work in advance,
so I still have school and homework on top of NaNo >.>;;
I have previous papers I am going to rewrite,
which is why I say things will kick up late when I know exactly what I'm writing about ^^;;
It's also hard to write without my sister here all the time,
because I can't guarantee all my information on the setting is correct ;^;
I've written about 400 words between then and now though,
so I just have to keep at it ^^;;

Yeah I gotcha. That's why I haven't done NaNoWriMo before now. I had school and November is when wrestling season kicked off so by that time, I was already in morning or afternoon practice (I think when I found out about NaNo, we were still in afternoon practice which meant I didn't get home until 5:30-6:00 and I had homework and stuff to do) and then there were the tournaments that could last ALL freaking day, so yeah. Why wouldn't NaNoWriMo happen during the summer? D:
