But Momiji growing up is necessary! The entire point of the manga is to show how humans grow and mature. Development from childishness to maturity! So we need Momiji to grow up physically to help demonstrate the mental growth of all the characters! Plus time passage actually has to be shown. whee

Besides, I like Momiji grown up. I mean, he was cute, sure. I'll never argue that. But grown up Momiji getting all excited over icecream= heart (not that he's my favorite character, but...)
