"I am pretty much miserable in a lot of ways. If something changes that would be lovely."
User Image

How are you miserable? Wanna talk in PM?
User Image
"No no, no one needs to be bothered by it. Just mentioned it because I realized I didn't have anything positive to say."
User Image
But there is always something to be positive about. Think about it, you woke up this morning. You still have an opportunity at life. Think of all the people that have it cut short or at the wrong time.
User Image
"But is it better for the world that I am alive or is my existence just hurting it somehow? Wasting resources?

It's not something I want to seriously consider. I would rather just say nothing positive is happening, before I think too deeply and become depressed by it."

Your life is only a waste if you let it be a waste. Just a simple thing as smiling at someone and saying "Hello" or "Nice outfit" could mean the world to them and be a boost for you, if you let it happen.

Your life is what you make it out to be. If you allow yourself to only be filled with gloom, that's how you'll remain. It takes effort to 'search for the good stuff', but once you start it, you'll realize how awesome it is. I used to hate life until I stated to force myself to change my thought method. "Fake it till you make it" is real.

But essentially, if you go around thinking there is nothing good in life, you are faking it as well.

What you're doing by faking it is changing your thought pattern. Change always takes effort. After you apply the proper effort and in due time, you won't have to fake it anymore.

Like I said, change is never easy. Honestly I had gone on medication while I received behavioral treatment/therapy. The medication made me less stressful while I was taught the techniques. The biggest thing is someone can teach you all day, but if you don't apply it you will get no where. Now, I'm not on medication.

And honestly, some people just end up staying of medication, and that's not a bad thing and shouldn't have a stigma attached to. It just means you have lower levels of certain chemicals in your body, and higher in others. The body just needs assistance in sorting it out.

"I'm not medicated, none of this relates to me.

And I don't need advice. I don't have a problem. I am worthless, and there's no point to me living I know that, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. For some people that's just the way it is, and I understand that. It's fine."

Well I wasn't medicated either until I went to go request assistance in controlling my life. So yes, this could apply to you. And this conversation isn't just a A B one. There are lurkers reading these, so it's not just directed for you.

Fact is is no one is worthless unless they want to be worthless. You could be of value if you just put effort into it. You may not be valuable in the way you want to be, or the way other people are, but that doesn't mean you have less value. It just means you have a different purpose in life.

I'm not dead! That's positive.

My family is starting to finally gather up the s**t they don't need so we can have more space for actual furniture. Also, I'm starting to eat healthier and work out more regularly. Which makes me feel good about myself and being in a better mood works out well for everyone around me, too.
My dog has been bathed and no longer stinks. I'm getting a hair cut tomorrow.

Yaaaaaay.

I got engaged last December. Haven't set an official date yet because my soon to be father in-law is getting married in July and we don't want to rain on their parade by having ours around the same time as theirs.. So we're think maybe sometime in August or early fall.

I'm excited.

Besides that, there's a lot of stress, and I think it's caused weird red splotches on my breasts that's concerning.
