What's funeral detail, exactly? Is it actually funeral related or is it an army thing? >>

Josh has been doing gate duty (dunno if that's what it's really called, it's just what I call it) since he got to Cali. Wouldn't suck so bad if shifts weren't twelve hours and he's currently on nights. We talked more when he was in friggin' Oki. And with the wedding nearing, it's frustrating that we can't talk. Wonder if this is what he'll be doing for the remainder of his contract. I hope not. ><

Funeral Detail is where they remove the casket to do a small ceremony at the cemetery.
And they fold the flag which is handed to the wife or whoever.
Sometimes you have to pick up gun shells too.
You never look at the body though. It's you and some other people holding the caskets and folding the flag that was draped over the top of the casket.

It's not just Army.
Most of the dudes Nate is with are Air Force.
He's actually getting a certificate from the Air Force since they requested the help of Army guys lol.
There's been some Marine and Navy guys there too.

She annoyed the crap out of me so I just put her on my ignored list.

Just always came off as obnoxious, imo. She would always respond to me with some witty remark about how I'm wrong and don't know what I'm talking about, and then if I disagreed with her she would say something along the lines of, "I'm right because I go to school for it." Even when she was, "Giving advice," to other Gaians, she just was really condescending and sanctimonious.

So, instead of putting up with it or trying to argue back, I just put her on my Ignored list and left it alone under the assumption that it would never become an issue - never mind a public one. It would make sense that she doesn't recognize my username. It's changed completely.
