Gabe picked out and bought my engagement ring (of course) and paid for the wedding band, but I picked it out.
He hasn't decided on a ring for himself yet, but he'll be getting that eventually.

I actually need to get my ring cleaned soon. It's been six months since the last cleaning, which means it's been a year and a half since the engagement. Woah.

I don't have an engagement nor a band and don't want them. I find them kinda pointless. Besides mine is last minute and rushed. Like a I am getting married Friday and leaving next Wednesday.

It feels like I've been with Gabe since forever.
It'll be 8 years this October.

Also, kinda random but not really, his birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT TO GET HIM THIS YEAR!
I've been saving up for this and everything, though I should probably order it soon because it may take a while to get here.
AAAHHH I'M EXCITED! I'll admit that I've only every gotten him a birthday gift once or twice in all our years of knowing each other, but he also never wants anything so I tend to only get him stuff for Christmas.

I consider this my first relationship too, which worries my admittedly insecure Chris, that I might realize there's better out there. :c
But I won't. I'm pretty super happy.

He also already applied for a gaming company in Japan ahead of our original October plan because he loathes his job and coworkers. I asked what he'd do if they wanted to hire him immediately.
He said he'd tell them to wait because he has to bring me (and we must be married before he can).
So he won't go without me even though it's his dream. emotion_kirakira

We've had talks about the possibility of finding someone "better" but in the end, neither of us believes that we'll be any happier with anyone else.
