Oh, mine turned gold just now too. It was definitely red this morning though. But yeah, the gold one dispensed the same old DC garbage... Maybe the odds are a bit better with it, but with my luck I wouldn't tell the difference.

Logged in today and mine was Gold as well. Thought it meant I was gonna get better/awesome stuff. Twas not the case for me. :<

I had the gold Daily Chance boxes on this account, but red ones on my mule. Based on that, I think that the gold color is if you've logged in for 6+ of the past 7 days.

The gold one does give out slightly better things. I got 1k, which isn't a lot but better than most days as far as DC goes.
