My favorite summer activities are swimming and traveling.
We live basically right next to the ocean, so when the weather is good, it only takes about 5-10 minutes (walking) to get to the nearest beach and jump in.

And I love traveling because I love seeing new places, and foreign cultures. (And of course taste the food, and see all the interesting sights)

My favorite summertime activity is to travel to various concerts, beaches and the like, all while spending time with my family of course. And on rainy days when everyone is lying down relaxing, I am listening to music that soothes me in a way, drawing, writing, or even watching a few classic comedies.
