Recon Pariah Discussion and Fan Thread: Finale!

Ya kno... i still have no idea what happened in the story

Rejam wanted to keep us guessing, it seems.

Deacon used to be Recon, like Pariah.
Pariah was sent to "take care" of Deacon.
Pariah kills 482 (the kid sent with her) and joins Deacon's army instead.
She leaves her implant behind to be found.
Blue and Grey are assigned to investigate the memories in the implant.
We see the proceedings filtered through Blue's viewpoint.
Grey reveals the implant was left for him to view, and (it's implied) kills Blue.
Then it seems that Pariah, now called The Faithful, views all this through the memories in Blue's implant (I think).

i was gonna re-read the story again since i missed one or two announcements in between but reading this is so much easier lol

I was trying to leave things intentionally vague/ARG-inspired and leave some loose ends/question marks/ambiguous bits but might have overdone it a bit, my apologies, lol >_> That said, Siansersais is 100% spot on, this is exactly right and precisely the series of events (and yes, the frame story at the end was that all of Blue's memories are being rewatched by Pariah), although I was sort of imagining that "Faithful" can now apply to anyone loyal to Deacon, but really it could go either way with how it was written o:

Who is the bad guys and who is the good guys? Hahaha, I got a bit confused on who was on what side.

Pariah + Deacon vs 282 and grey? I think I'm mostly confused about blue and grey.

That's exactly what I was hoping the Toy Revenge items would have (not holding something).
It's too bad they only come in one pose but I love them nonetheless. <3

I was never following the story, I should probably go back and read it. xD

Nifty story; wonder if it ties in to the future dystopia that the Wasteland Recon items are about. Sounds like it. It is a nice item, though I don't know if it's for me.

I instantly bought this because science fiction themed items WOOOOO!!!!! I'll hold onto it, but not for reasons I was hoping. There's a bit too much clothing for me. I would have loved something more along the lines of the "old marks" equip. I'm holding onto it for that equip along with the dreads because we lack dread options, and the random claw hands (and yeah, they're random to me because I don't read the story haha sorry!!!).

That sword arm equip is such a bummer !!!! It looks like it could belong to any warrior item with any theme anywhere. xD
