Cicily pushed her hair from her face as she looked at the people around her. She looked at the dark elf who was talking to her. Normally if she was out in public, she wouldn't take the crap from them. But as one of the managers of the bar, she had to be classy. She poured the woman another shot, and refreshed her cold drink with some more coke. She made sure no one saw a glance of it, and gently brushed the glass as she was refilling it, chilling the coke. She smiled as she pushed her hair from her face and turned to see everyone around. They were doing well, and things seemed good. Cicily was happy that Bishop was happy for the new tournament that would begin in a few days or so. She stretched her arms over her head, and moving her upper body to the left and right to pop her back. She relaxed as she poured herself another glass of water, her body storing as much water as she could. She sipped the water as she looked around at everyone there. It was almost like they were one big dysfunctional family.

Cicily looked down at the glass of water, her fingertips caressing the cool edge. She traced the frost patterns that were collecting where her finger tips touched. She closed her eyes, trying to remember what had happened. How she had come to have a power such of this. She remembered she had taken a trip. She was crossing snow. She looked around at everyone around her, it was a bar almost like this. She had one too many when she had wandered outside. She had to walk back to her hotel room. It had snowed and she was looking out across the lake when she felt the scarf she wore, tear from her neck. It had gone off onto the edge of the lake she was near, She had to have that stupid scarf. She slowly made her way out into the ice, and then nothing. Cicily blinked as she came from her day dream. She rubbed her arms, trying to get rid of that cold feeling from her body. She looked up to see Bishop coming back over to her. She stopped the tracing of frost onto the glass and added some more ice to the cup.

Smiling, Cicily wrapped her arms around him, his body was so warm. She tried to get closer, the chill from her dream was still in her veins. She buried her face into the crook of his neck, closing her eyes trying to get the warmth to go away. She held him for a few minutes, and let go, the frost feeling gone. She smiled up at Bishop, and sipped the glass of water as she looked at him. "This is going to be a great tournament hun." she said as she kissed his cheek.

Bishop chuckled lightly as he just stood there, holding her for a prolonged moment. When she lifted up her head and complimented the tournament, he couldn't help but get over excited about it. Though his hardened shell did wonders to mask his excitement. Like a child that just received a new bike.

"Some stiff competition. I jus' hope whoeva' I have t' eliminate doesn't beat me. Then I'll have t' launch some sort of strange free for all."

H
e chuckled again half liking the idea. Though he was more so itching to get down and dirty in the pit. As he began to get older, he was still all thug life and s**t, though he was starting to focus more on fighting as a career and a sport than just something he did when he had too or because he got angry. This tournament was the first of many, and though it was small, it would surely fill any night with excitement. He would have no referee, no time limit, and no ******** mercy. One animals belonged in cages. And this Pit Bulled was primed and ready. Thirsty, starving, and pissed off. Anything to come inside this cage would be subject to severe maiming. The only way out is to admit defeat, or get knocked the ******** out.

User Image Quan felt the shift of samayou has he moved back to avoid being flipped over by Quan's escape roll, but it was a short lived victory as Samayou came back for more. Samayou procced to pounce upon quan as he prepared to roll on to his stomach and push him self up and back away from Samayou, Quan had to think fast if kept rolling he would be flat on the Matt and at Samayou's mercy and would have no chance of winning this fist. So instead he stayed right where he was on his side, he quickly tucked his knees in to his stomach and pulled his arms close to his head and chest compressing himself in to a tight little ball. Samayou's weight fell upon him and it felt like a boulder had been dropped on him, he left out a ragged pained breath as the man proceeded to literally crush him with is body.

Than came the punches to his head. By tucking his arms in he kept Samayou's left arm from taking a full hold of his head leaving him some room but the punches to the back kept coming, he felt the pain as they hammered away at the base of his spinal cord and his right ear, blurring his vision and making him unavailable to focus and see clearly. But out of all this he still did not panic. He waited until he could find a chance as the blows hammered him, when Samayou's arm cocked back for another strike Quan made his move. His right arm shot out from the tight space nestled near his head with the elbow cocked and up ready to slam in to Samayou's chin, at that the same time he used every last ounce of strength in his body to push his body up in attempt to throw Samayou off him even a little bit to create a space where he could push himself back away from the grappled position.

WHAM WHAM WHAM! Sama brought down punch after punch but his foe had managed to of not being fully pinned. he had curled into a ball which was good for defense, not so much for offense.

WHAM WHAM CRACK! Sama just kept bringing the pain, mostly curious as to how Quan would react and a swift elbow to the chin told him. The kid was patient but...

WHAM WHAM WHAM! Sama did not even miss a beat! Curled in a ball on his left side was no way to fight and the power generated from his elbow was no where near enough to rock Sama's world. Quan had speed and agility on his side but in this situation it was a ground and pound, Sama's expertise. he was conditioned for this and so the elbow hit mark, even cut Sama's chin a little. Black blood started to drip but the ravaging behemoth did not even seem to notice.

Instead he he shifted quickly so that his right leg pulled up and over. Now settling him into a full mount on an adversary who was side ways. A little awkward but he had a dominate position and he began to hammer away. He switched up the punches however as he leaned in, his right forearm digging into the side of Quan's head and arms. Pressing down with his weight as his left hand began to hammer away at the back of the ribs and spine.

There was the roaring of a crowd, the people screaming for a knock out, some for Sama to blast him one, others for Quan to escape. It was all irrelevant to Sama who simply watched hat Quan would do. His eyes locked on every twitch as he measured up his subject. Was Quan worthy, did he have what it took? He had patience and skill but he seem to lack an aggressive nature. So the Devil kept on bringing the pain, just to see what Quan would do.

User Image Quan felt Sama's black blood drip down upon him from the successful cut he gave to his chin but that didn't stop the man mountain. He kept hammering away at Quan and even moved to a more steady mounted position.Quan quickly brought his arm back to try and protect himself but his back was left wide open and Sama began to work his ribs. The only reason they weren't broken yet was because of Quan's training of the body with the Iron shirt technique of Shaolin 72 arts but it wouldn't hold up forever with continued punches. Quan for a moment was at a lost all his patience and timed movements did not seem to have any real effect.

Now he was getting angry he was done planning the soft fist now it was time to show why he was named Quantou Shen. He twist his body to the left even more putting himself on his back with Sama in the full mount ground and pound postion. He heard the crowd gasp and yell at him for such a move but he didn't care. He ribs were protected but he gave Sama full access to his face but that was ok because this gave Quan more room to use his fist as well and more power, He weeved his head to the side from one of Sama's punches as he twisted his upper body and fired a heavy fist towards Sama's side. He would follow that up with a uppercut to his chin when his head came down to be exposed again.

Now he was getting angry he was done planning the soft fist now it was time to show why he was named Quantou Shen. He twist his body to the left even more putting himself on his back with Sama in the full mount ground and pound postion. He heard the crowd gasp and yell at him for such a move but he didn't care.

There it was, the trigger moment. The point when all men decided to leave behind rational thought and simply go for it. The anger flooded out of Quan like a river and as he shifted Sama re balanced to adjust, sitting up on Quan's chest as the lad began to swing.

Enzo Lord Of Ghost
He weeved his head to the side from one of Sama's punches as he twisted his upper body and fired a heavy fist towards Sama's side.

WHAM! The punch landed home and the raw side of his abdominal muscle wall took it like the side of a mountain. He was forced to pull his hands in, breathing out as the blow rocked his side. He could feel the vibrating sting of the shot as it caused the pain from before bubble to the surface. But he held firm, eyes waiting for that moment he could take the win.

Enzo Lord Of Ghost
He would follow that up with a uppercut to his chin when his head came down to be exposed again.

{{ Since no detail was given on which punch was which hand I will go with the following? The punch to my side was with your right hand, the upper cut with your left. }}

As the upper cut came Sama leaned his head back, just letting the knuckles grace the tip of his cut chin. That was the moment and like a bear trap he sprung. Both his arms lashed out, wrapping around Quan's extended arm and in a solid fluid motion he leaned to his right and directly into an arm bar! Every subtle move Sama had made was leading up to this. The ground work, the pounding, it was both a mental and physical feint. Quan was faster and had an equally good reach, he could destroy Sama in jabs all day. But on the ground where weight and strength could play to his advantage Sama was king. He needed to be close and he had weaved and dodged, pushed and shoved all this time to get Quan right into this position!

THUD! Sama's back hit the mat as he pulled Quan's arm in and thrust his hips up. This would pull the arm close and cause the elbow joint to start bending in a very wrong direction. All 370 pounds of his mass would pull and twist the arm, ready to rip the thing off if Quan did not tap soon.

Bishop temporarily excused himself. Retreating upstairs to the VIP area in order to raid his personal belongings up there. It didn't take long before he found his bong. An entricate one at that with a serpent designed into the glass, winding up the neck. It was blue in color. Anyone that had seen the movie 'Grandma's Boy' would have seen it before in 'Dante's basement'. Packing up a bowl, Bishop would take a grand hit, inhaling the smoke as he fought his body from coughing or choking. As he held the smoke in he pulled out his phone to check on it. No new messages. He could have sword he sent Elesana a message about The Beatdown earlier...maybe he didn't. Making a fresh message would only take a minute.

Quote:
Yo.
The Beatdown starts soon.
You should come check out the club.
Get a feel for the pit before you have to be in it.
To get to Sigil, tyou need to find the old well between Barton and Durem to the North.
When you find this deep well, you won't be able to see the bottom, no water weither.
Jump right on in.
Once you land between the guildhall and market wards of Sigil, follow the posters to the club.

Exhaling slowly, he would repeat the process, letting his phone set in his lap as he enjoyed his stash. He just felt like he needed to chill out for a moment. Get away from the crowd. He may not have been doing much of anything, but running a business was tiring. Or in Bishop's case, saying you run a business is tiring. With a sigh he exhaled another plume of smoke. The more hits he took, the more tempted he was to turn on his XBOX 360 and play some Left4Dead or some Call of Duty. Either way, he was in a mood to shoot up some zombies....virtually of course.

'It's only after we've lost е ʋ е r y т н ɪ η ɢ

Elesana was currently sitting in the grass of her backyard, bent forward as she did a butterfly stretch and slowed her breathing down. She had been practicing in her backyard, switching between power shots with her sticks and punching the bag her grandma had left her. She heard her phone chime from the picnic table and slowly rolled up. Wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead, she picked up her phone, wondering who was texting her. She raised an eyebrow when she saw it was from Bishop. She hadn't actually talked to him since they drank together. It felt kind of awkward, though she supposed she did need to sign up for his tournament formally. Lo and behold, that was what the text was about. She took a drink of water before answering him.

To Bishop
Sure. I suppose I do still have to officially sign up.
And besides, jumping into an empty well was always on my to-do list.
See you later.

She took her sticks, phone, and water inside and headed upstairs. She needed a quick shower and change before going anywhere.

...

Sometime later, dressed in black skinnies, her favorite dark red converse, and a bright blue hoodie with the 30 Seconds to Mars triad on the chest, Elesana was looking dubiously into the well he had been talking about. She took a deep breath. She couldn't think of a reason he would have for killing her, so he must have been telling the truth with how to get there. She clambered up onto the ledge, steadied herself, and then jumped in. After a panicky moment and a muttered curse, she found herself in a completely foreign place that was apparently having dusk. Or dawn, who knew. She looked around, and spotting the posters he had mentioned, started following them. She sent him another text as she walked, letting him know she would be there soon.

Elesana stood outside the place for a moment, looking at it with her eyebrows raised slightly and a vaguely apprehensive look on her face. For a moment, she couldn't believe she had agreed to this. She shook her head, sighed, and let out a soft "Oh well". She had something to prove anyway. She pushed the door open and made her way inside.

But his uppercut wasn't so lucky as it just barely scrapped his chin, and he used the advantage to grab Quan's arm. Quan felt Sama shift his position as he pulled Quan into a arm-bar, the most effective set simplest grapple move their was. It felt the bones in his arm being to stretch upon their mortal limits.Quan had a decision now either he left Sama break his arm so he could have a chance to slip out and keep fighting despite the handicap and pain, risking a doctor stop or he admit his defeat and tap out. Quan was fully ready to expect the sacrifice of his arm to try and win this fight but he was going to be in the beat-down, which was worth some money if he won and the gods knew he needed it with him stuck in this mortal form. Being a good fighter didn't mean you never gave up, it meant that you should know when to keep fighting and when to admit your loss and now Quan was admitting his. Quickly with his left hand he slapped the mat making the impact sound loud enough for the ref and Sama to hear to know that Quan had tapped out.

As she confirmed being on her way, Bishop finished his bowl. Sighing as he stood, he could feel the cotton mouth setting in. And so he would head back to the bar for a drink. Retrieving one of his OnPoint Gaian Premium Lager, he popped the cap off and tossed it almost carelessly at the trashcan. Bouncing off of the wall, it would perfectly fall into the the trash as intended. As he took the initial sip, he heard the door open up. Looking to the door as he idled the beer in his left hand, a fresh cigarette in his right hand. Lighting it with a chuckle, he would first take a reassuring drag and inhale the smoke, exhaling as he spoke to Sana with a wide cheeky grin.

"So how do ya' like it?"

The slap of the mat rang out as the Referee nearly jumped on Samayou, pulling for him to let go. Sama complied immediately before any more tension could be applied and rolled away before standing to his full height. The crowd went absolutely nuts, roaring cheers and screams and particular profanities. He could feel his heart beat, he felt alive again but he also felt the numbing pain with in his torso. Whatever Quan had done early on it had brought Sama nearly to the limit. The big man made it to his corner and sat down, letting his weight shake the mat as he sighed.

He had won by submission, but it had not been easy. The ref came over for a moment and shook his hand, congratulating him on a great fight, then did the same for Quan and left, leaving the ring to the fighters. A few fans mingled about the edge of the cage, some congratulating him but it fell on deaf ears. He had seemed to zone out.

Elesana looked around as she walked in, noting the pool tables, Jukebox, and booths. Then she saw a familiar red head as she looked towards the bar. She grinned at his question. She gave a small one-shoulder shrug. "It's not bad. Seems to suit you, though it's not my usual scene," she admitted as she walked up to him. She tucked her hands into her hoodie's kangaroo pocket and her eyes strayed curiously to the glass on the floor with the railing around it. "So where do I put my name down for this tournament?" she asked, bringing her green gaze back to Bishop.

"Don' worry 'bout it. Ya' on the roster already."

H
e mused in a proud manner. Surely she would wish to see the roster, to know what she was against. Though she would find out when she stepped into the pit. Speaking of which, he was craving a spar, just to see how far she had come. Wait potential she had gained from her training. He also wanted to compare what he had learned against her. just to see whom, was growing faster. Or maybe even just for healthy competition.

"Le' me show ya' the pit."

H
e spoke before clearing the bar in a single bound, and walking around to the stairs, where he would venture down to the simple pit set into the ground with a 10ft chainlink fence styled cage trapped those unfortunate inside. The only way out was to give up, or get knocked the ******** out. With a slight chuckle, he was more than ready pet her through he paces pre-tournament. Nothing serious enough to hurt her, just enough to push her into showing some of her potential. then there was the concern of Cici and Elesana meeting one another. He wanted to prolong it just a bit to make them both aware of what the deal was. He had made a move on Sana, though it was an act of pure lust. And now, he had Cici. Hopefully for like ever.

Elesana raised an eyebrow. "The pit. That sounds like a wonderful place for fighting with no weapons," she muttered sarcastically. She followed him nonetheless. As she stood looking at the caged in area, her face was an almost uninterested mask. She didn't much fancy being locked in a cage to fight anybody, but at least there was enough room for two people to maneuver in there. Or at least she thought so. She already found herself musing about the benefits that fence could hold. She had been taught how to use a wall as a weapon before. Perhaps she could use the fence as a less effective weapon.

But something useful still.
She listened to the cheering crowd and watched as a fight apparently ended by tap out. She stayed by Bishop, not moving closer to the pit yet. She watched the large man who seemed to have won make his way to one corner and sit down. "So are there a lot of tap outs here?" she asked, just to ask something. She needed to talk rather than mull over people she didn't want to face in that pit...

Shapeless form as he traversed through the Club's doors. His metallic palm pushing the door , steel boots engraving a soft spot within the flooring as his arms swayed to and fro' . Apathetic on the surface as listless crimson orbs fixated on the few that occupied the club, the others vacating the area before Happy hour. Hideo brandishing a simple grin as the price for entry declined to 5 dollars for women. Slipping his hands into his pockets, tracing a path to the bar with his eyes. Typical black attire, as the chains dangled with a soft ring coming with each step. It had been a few weeks and his training had been going quite well - especially for the upcoming brawlers tournament he so indifferently signed up for. Removing his left from his pocket as he closed the distance towards the bar. Waving the bartender he would order something a bit more light, other than bourbon, cracking his lips as the words rung out in a clerical tone.

"Honey Jack on the rocks."

Sifting through the crowd of people, hues analyzing each figure until he motioned to take a seat at the bar. Removing his pack and lighter from his jacket as he propped his feet on the bar rail and leaned forward. Placing his weight on his elbows as he spun the lighter, before removing a single cig from the box and shifted his attention to the actions of the bartender. Thoughts running through the mind as he hadn't seen Jay in a awhile, as well as his other...the thoughts completed rotation as he only lowered his head to view the single cig he held in his hands. A feeling of an outcast, without nothing. Maybe it was all he was destined to be.
