raccyisdabest ....SHUT UP!!! i would kick your a** in V.3 if you used an integra....anyway i have played all versions of Initial D, i have an Evo VI and an RX-8, the new courses are fun, and snow akina is like racing in the rain with no force feedback from your wheel at all. the newest new course is crazy, obstecles such as oilslicks and landslides exsist and finally its uphill and downhill, so skill plays a major role, all in all, its a good game.

and for all you DC2 haters, it is no longer the best car, the glitch no longer exsists, so all cars are relatively balanced now!!

There is no chance that all the cars are relatively balanced...otherwise, the rankings for each course would be all mixed up, instead of S14Q ruling Akagi and Capp being the best overall in the Dry.

Yes, we know that the Integra got nerfed big time. It's still decent on Happo, though. But a word of advice for all: Keep your Integras for Version 2. I am. Instead, I'll be making an EG6 for Happo, along with the RX-8 that I'll be using.

Evo VI is like...s**t, though, as I've been told. The worst Evo of all of them in Version 3.

i don't know about you. but most of the Ver2's that we'll have here are most definatly gonna be converted to Ver 3. that and. you can't be too sure what the best car is anymore because every car seems balanced. with the acception of some other cars. but i guess even with the cars attributes being lated out. each course still has it's own car advantage.

From what I've heard, overall, RX-8 is indeed the best car, seeing that it combines both its rankings in the dry and wet with a fast start-up.

It'd be almost useless to transfer the DC2 to Version 3 unless you were a Happo specialist, man. It's not that great. But other cars like the FDs and the FC...those are worthwhile.

i agree my evo Vi is s**t but i love it none the less, as for the RX-8. its strong, and handles well, but as for best car, i hear that spot might go to one of the FDs since they are now the best cars. my only piece of advice for the Evo VI is watch out for sliding, it likes to slide alot, although it is AWD

Wait, FDs taking the spot for best car? When did this happen? They certainly don't dominate on their home course...SE3P is supposed to be the best overall.

the SE3P is a good car, but think of it like an overpowered miata, causes thats what it basically is, from what i hear, the FDs are the best cars overall, though they suffer from weakpoints like all cars do, and as for how the s14 became best, i dunno but oh well, an FD will topple it eventually.

From what I've been told from first-hand accounts of the game, SE3P has FD's power with FC's handling.

Where did you hear that the FDs were gonna be on top? So far, everything leads to the SE3P being overall best in terms of dry and wet conditions as well as start-up and blocking ability.

Uhm...a lot of people already playing Version 3 are using the RX-8. The great majority of them already have one. In fact, everyone who has played Version 3 at my arcade (we don't have it, but some people went to like, Los Angeles, and played Japanese Version 3) has an RX-8.

Which FAQ was this, and where was it? 'Cause FD3SI was the top in Version 1. FD3SI and FD3SVI were 2nd and 3rd, respectively, and as the cars are ranked in Version 3...they got bumped down just a bit, but they're still 'top tier' cars.

Let's see...another post of my thoughts as a bump...

For the most part, I've been laying low in the Initial D scene. Most of the racers around my arcade are newbies and thus don't want to race me, seeing that they're pretty much just afraid to challenge me. Yeah, that makes sense, seeing that my Integra is Battle Level 23 and I hold the #1 record for Irohazaka DH Dry and #3 record for Happogahara IB Dry.

So, my team got challenged by another team about two hours away from where I am. I'm a little hesitant to go, really, but my teammate is rarin' to go and compete. I'll be going...and Ginsu, you're probably going with me and Miguel as well.

The R32 is going to become my new car of focus...must build it for Version 3!

To me...does it really matter what car is the best? Hell, where I am, most of the people playing V3 uses....well, a huge variety of cars, rarely (if not never) see a person driving a RX-8 at all...
And personally, I don't dislike the DC2 in general, I dislike the people who take ADVANTAGE of the DC2 being so cheap. For instance, the people who race players who aren't good at cources like Happo and Iro UPHILL (Which alot of people aren't prepared for.) or they always race players at Happo or Iro and never other cources, and then suddenly slam the "Accept Challange" button off when someone good comes up.

But eh, I'm rusty at ID:AS, and the only place I bother to go is $2 to start and #1 to play again after you finish, which is alot to me, since I don't carry around enough money to even finish a normal tune on my Trueno...
