What I learned in Software Technology:
C# is awesome because Microsoft Visual Studio is good.
You should be just like Microsoft.
Saying you like to program in Java, C, C++ and C# is worse than saying you like to program in C#
Bill Gates brought us high level languages!
We were told that CPU clock speed = operation speed.

I would so kick your teacher if I could or at the very least refute most of their points. I'm not sure who brought the first high level language but I can bet my finest underwear that it wasn't Billy Gates.

Both Lisp and FORTRAN are high-level languages. As are C, BASIC, ALGOL, and Simula.

Well, i guess C is more abstract than Assembler, but high level?

Edit: I want to get the data out of this csv file and then i want to sort it ... and then i want to do things to it that are illegal in 58 countries.

I hear that mod applications may be open and I'm considering applying for modship.

Half of me is going "why not? It gives me chance to do more than file reports" and the other half is going "******** no! I just dumped a couple of dregs of humanity that were saying things to/about me that quite frankly screamed stalker and could do without any more for a while".

The same half is also going "I'm about to enter the second year of my degree course and would prefer to focus more on my studies in order to keep up the high marks"

My dad once said "if you can't say anything nice, shut the ******** up". I don't always agree with him, but he often comes up with gems and he's one of the few people I have more then the bog standard baseline respect for.

And this, Snacks, is probably why you'll not pass the mod screening; you've got a bit of a razor for a tongue and can have your spiteful streaks.

You should either use Windows Automation or Apache POI. http://poi.apache.org/

I do not think POI requires you to have an actual copy of MS Office, while automation will unless you know the syntax open office requires. In any event it is way better this way.

I believe the latest RIG. I have a Narumi SD myself, but that's just because I got lucky and the person who was selling it put it up for 600k and I just happened to have a spare 600k sitting around. xD;

I've spent about 300k hoping to get lucky with one of them. Made back about 40k.

I just buy em with Gaia Cash myself. >_>;; Can't say I personally use em though, I usually just give em to my best friend who loves em.

I for one, welcome our highly efficient processor overlords

That being said, I love the conclusion to this ars editorial about Cary Sherman.

That's interesting. But i already found a different solution: i saved the file as CSV file and am now reading it with a program i wrote myself. This has the added bonus of allowing me to do some sorting and evaluating.
I still have to plot it with OO, but now i have CSV files that contain maybe 16 rows, not 3000.
