i remember a couple years ago we thought i bruised my tailbone but it turned out to be an abscess

hopefully yours is actually just a bruised tailbone--

... actually, starting to suspect I might have only bruised it minorly since I've been able to sit a lot more than I should without a donut, mainly on my hipbones and such. WHICH I AM OKAY WITH...

Main thing I've found that I have to be careful with is standing up/sitting down and bending over, so just have to watch how I move and such.

If you forgive me for butting in, that also sounds like you might have fractured it or something? If the movement thing persists with no bruise I'd go see a doc...

Well, when I went to the on campus clinic on Tuesday the doctor said I could get an x-ray if I wanted to check if the tailbone was damaged at all, but it wouldn't actually change what I'd do to help it heal, so I said no. It's mainly a case that I just have to keep an eye on it for now, but thank you for the concern!

Edit: And honestly I have a feeling the standing up/sitting down is mainly just how the muscles pull on it ouo
