Welcome to Gaia! ::

The zombie being questioned... well, it was a zombie! It reacted predictably, shambling towards her with arms outstretched. It would try and throttle her out of a simple desire to kill the living. The arcane energy that powered this particular form of undead could be disrupted by various spells and such. If she had the power to sever or otherwise cause interference for such things it would halt its advance.

One of the necromancers nearby would watch the conflict with interest. He stopped flinging destructive spells at the defenders and turned his attention to the woman fully. Whatever he thought of her outfit it didn't show, since his features were hidden by the hood of his black robes. When she managed to defeat the lone zombie ( as anyone can beat one lonely zombie ) he would point a pale finger in KB's direction. That she sought him by name was evidence enough of her importance.

"Our master conducts the great war from deeper in the Hive." He explained.

Raven let the zombie get close enough to touch, that was a lot easier as the corpse had it's arms stretched out to grab at her, so it was simple enough to reach out and grab at one of those outstretched hands... and then it was as simple as could be to attempt to drain away the power that animated it, as she would drain away the power of another meta-human, or the life force of a human... she was a vampire, even if she usually had no interest in consuming blood.

Weather it worked or not, did not really matter, since Raven only allower the corpse to take one more step after allowing it to touch her before she threw a fire ball at it... at point blank range there was no chance of missing... the dead man would go up like a roman candle... always such a nice sight!

The fire dancing in her eyes Raven smiled at the hooded man as she broke away from the burning corpse, slashing at it's deathly strong hand with something very dark and hard to really see... something shadowy... the zombies fingers falling to the broken road, and then those fire flecked eyes looked further down the road, deeper into the chaos and she laughed...a happy laugh, as if the hooded man had just told her something pleasantly amusing. "Thank you..."
The zombie was taken apart with ease and left to burn. The necromancer merely shrugged and watched her go away. His eyes lingered on her a little longer than they should have because, well, ******** he might have been controlling the dead but he was a living man and she had certain... assets.

When she finally got close enough to be noticed by KB, he frowned. His first instinct was to don the mask and resume his carnage but forced himself to pause. "What are you doing here?" He asked with a frown. It wasn't that he was necessarily unhappy to see her... but rather that he was genuinely surprised. It had been a long long time since he'd seen anyone from his past, and few of them dwelt in or around Sigil. In the end he could only assume her presence was connected to the upcoming Heaven or Hell tournament.

User ImageTerrance could tell she was lying; SHE didn't even believed the words she spurted out just now. At least she tried to make him feel better. He was glad to Julia for that, even when everything was still conflicting him, she cared for him so passionately. When she lifted up his chin, he used his metallic hands to move some hair away from her cheek. “Thank you for that…” He said with voiced laced with monotone. He was, for the most part, relieved that she was there for him.

Hearing Lian’s words he was slightly relieved to see that somebody was still on his side. However, Lovi’s words still held truth in them. This was something he could no longer deny. He had no time to respond to Lian, so he only nodded, Just enough so that she was aware he understood. When she left the room, that is when Terrance would stare back at the unfinished morpher. His mind carried himself back to KB, and being dragged in that sewer against his will.

His eyes closed, the vision of the hatchet slamming onto his arm replayed yet again. His fist began to shake, and his body began to tense up.

oh yes... Hono'o Raven was rather well known for her 'assets'... likely due to the fact that she flaunted them every chance that she could... but that was of no consequence, as long as the hooded man kept his hands and his spells off her receding 'assets', she wouldn't even look back at him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with a frown. It wasn't that he was necessarily unhappy to see her... but rather that he was genuinely surprised. It had been a long long time since he'd seen anyone from his past, and few of them dwelt in or around Sigil.

"Hello KB... nice party you have going here!" She smiled, a cute and innocent smile that matched the schoolgirl outfit, clasping her hands behind her back as she rocked back on her heels slightly. Rae was actually rather surprised that he remembered her, although there was a good chance that he did not, and had only recognized her from that damn calender, Heaven or Hell had been where she first saw him again after all.

"I was wondering if you could help me find someone... don't worry, I can wait until your little party is done... although I will warn you that I have no intention of helping you clean up after wards!" Raven replied with a large grin, flashing dainty little fangs as her eyes flicked to the mask in his hand and then back to his face.

Find someone?

It was an odd request. KB couldn't help but chuckle dryly as she talked about the ongoing 'party' in the Hive. That she handled the entire thing so calmly and nonchalantly wasn't surprising, but refreshing. Sometimes it seemed as though he was the only one who appreciated such things.

"Well as you can see I am terribly busy, however..." He sighed, looking down at his mask for a moment. He had to switch it to his other hand and inspect the damage where it had burned his fingers and palm. It would heal quickly, but it was an inconvenience. The mask needed to be sated with innocent virgin blood quite soon. "...I suppose I might be able to at least try. Who is it you're looking for?"

To outsiders it might seem strange for KB to afford her his time and consideration, but it really wasn't. He remembered just about everyone he had meaningful contact with. Unlike mortals he viewed the passage of time differently. Not seeing someone for an excess of years would have been a big deal to them, but to him it was simply a consequence of an undead existence.

Julia had stayed with Terrance, still petting his dreads and sitting with him. Lian had gone to speak with Arkravis and disappeared. Their conversation seemed a bit intense at the beginning, calming down. She looked down to Terrance, smiled, and lay with him for a little while longer until he started shaking. Bringing her arm around him, she hugged him and did what she could to stop the tremors. "Terrance sunshine, you need to calm down."She said, holding him. There had to be a way. "I need to you to listen to my voice."

Julia sat up, looking down at him and lean very close, whispering softly. "You're okay, you're warm...you're with people who are taking care of you. You're wrapped in a warm blanket, lying on a big plush pile of pillows. There's something baking in the oven, and it smells so good, you can feel your mouth water...You're so cozy and warm, you feel like you're ready to drift off into a sleep, but you can't yet...There's still what's baking in the oven. You want to sit calmly, and wait for it..."She spoke. Julia had heard of hypnosis or suggestions that would help people calm down and relax. She hoped using good things would help him settle down.

She did note the burns, and decided that she didn't like the mask one bit at all... it was never a good thing when a source of power exacted such a toll on it's user... "I can heal that for you if you want..." It was almost instinct, see a hurt, ask to heal it...

With a sigh, she let the act drop, her eyes going back to being empty pits of despair before she asked for the impossible... "I want your help to find Sunstrike...."

Wheezing Werewolf

Antique Queen

Just Naota

It had been at least a couple days since Lovi had last seen Charisma or her mechanical Frankenstein's monster of a boyfriend, Dr. Queensborough. However, for whatever reason, they'd been the first people to come to mind as she galloped frantically down the impossibly long flights of stairs from the Fal'lain infirmary to the main floor entrance. She didn't know who this Tilly (did I get that right?) was or how long it had been since she left with KB's overbearing "gift", but something in her gut told her that time between now and a likely explosion was running out fast. Besides that, Lovi didn't really know how to deal with this problem to an effective end. Normally she would call Tres for help, but she doubted he would have much of a solution for her, either. And since in this strange, modern place 'Doctor' was a word that had somewhat detached itself from the healing profession to simply include highly intelligent people otherwise in its meaning, she could only assume as to what her best option was. (long sentences)

She had to slow herself on the stairs as she dialed Chari's number from her cell phone. God, how she hated the damned things. It took several tries not to fat-finger the number or just destroy the infernal thing out of frustration before the call went through as she intended it to.

"Charisma!" she spoke as soon as she had the opportunity, "Tell Dr. Queensborough that this KB guy is responsible for the murders. I don't know why, but that's not really important right now. He sent some girl by the name of Tilly to plant explosives in the mansion. I don't know where she is now, but I need you and your boyfriend to get to the guild as fast as possible. I don't know if I'm going to make it in time." And she didn't specifically know what to do.

"Chari?" she sounded frantic, just wanting to know that her directions had been heard.

Aged Lunatic

Arkravis would slip back into Terrance's room and observe his condition, which seemed to be more emotional and from shell shock than his deteriorating condition. Quietly he would lay a gloved hand on Julia's shoulder and coax her away from the man with an upraised index finger from his left hand.

"If you are going to use hypnosis, it is best that you are acquainted with the subtitles of the art first."

He would then take his right hand and removed the glove from his left, tugging onto the finger until the silken covering was removed.

Then, turning over to injured man, he would dangle the glove in front of him slightly, lowering his left hand away out of direct sight.

"Mister Terrance, do I have your attention sir?"
!!!

"Sunstrike!"

KB laughed harshly. He considered it ironic that she would come asking him for help finding Sunstrike of all people. It was kind of well known around that circle of friends that KB had unsuccessfully been stalking him for quite some time. All those years passed and they still hadn't gotten around to their dinner date. "I can't even begin to imagine where he'd have gotten off to. Heaven or Hell would be the best place to go digging for information like that, but as I'm sure you know it was all but completely disbanded last year."

Shrugging, KB thought about the subject for a minute. His run-ins with Sunstrike had always been coincidental. Still, there might be a discernible pattern from that coincidence that could be used to at least form a starting point. Events that drew together the most prominent members of the tournament often brought him out of hiding, such as the incident with Seyumi. Then it dawned on him.

"If I had to start somewhere, I'd definitely start with Latent. At this time of year even if he isn't there someone else might have seen him recently, and they'd be coming together there in preparation for the tournament. Even if the tournament doesn't have a roster yet or intact records some of the participants should be there." He nodded to himself. It seemed like a solid enough theory. Putting his mask back on, he turned to his former colleague. The golden mask covered his whole face, without eye or mouth holes... just that reflective glowing surface that seemed to stay in place of its own accord. When he spoke again, it was more as if he was speaking within her mind.

"Now, I must finish my work here. When I'm done I will help you in your search by attending Latent personally. In the meantime, I'm afraid I'll be too busy to be of much help. Still..." He smiled, his features hidden behind the mask, as he turned back to viewing the carnage. "...feel free to stay a short while. The fun has really only just begun."

Oh yes, Raven knew that KB had stalked Sunny even more relentlessly than she had, it was why she had come looking for him to help her find an even more evasive quarry than KB himself!

She snorted at the mention of the fiasco of last year’s HoH ending, not at all pleased with the thought of having to go back to that scene as a spectator again...but she needed help, and she was willing to wade through blood and guts to get it... so a little trip down memory lane should not be too horrific...... right rolleyes and candy was good for your teeth! xp

Rae looked away from that mask, studying her nails, flicking a bit of crusty blood from where the zombie had touched her off her skin. "I could help speed your party along a bit... if you wanted."

Tilly had arrived.

She stood outside with the briefcase in her left hand and a gun in her right. She couldn't hear anyone inside, but as she entered, she could see that it was empty. Not a mouse stirred. Tilly let a whine slip through her throat, looking down at the gun in her hand. If she just ended it now, then it would save her the pain of having ashamed herself. If she let the briefcase explode with her still inside, she would still die but she would have to bare the shame of having tried to kill people with no contract who had done nothing to her.

Tilly stood on the first floor, trying to look for any signs of an office. There was always one in the back somewhere, usually on the first floor. That's where business offices typically were. "Well...Ha ha...This is the end of Tilly...stupid, stupid Tilly..."She staggered, heading toward the back, wobbling side to side down the hallway toward where Lovi's office was. She stopped inside, looking down at the two objects in her hands. Death by gun, or death by bomb. Choices, Choices....She would give herself five minutes to say what good-byes she wanted to say mentally to anyone she was close to.

"I... don't, know" the brunette muttered with no small amount of uncertainly and confusion. The expression on her face being more appropriate for a cartoon character in the way her eyebrows were raised and eyes open.

She snapped back quickly though, when one of the workers came to her and pressed her for orders. Quickly and decisively, she ordered for the worker bees to quickly finish up any pending transactions and to escort the customers out while they figured out just what exactly crashed through their roof.

Business would be disrupted big-time today, but the safety of the customers was paramount. Somethin' like this went straight to the boss anyway.

Soon enough, Risa appeared from the back of the store, staff in hand, with a rather serious look on her face. She strode toward the crater with a purpose, ready for anything. As she walked, silver strands of magic ebbed into being about her, caressing her form, and transforming her chef's outfit into a more traditional white and gold sorceress's robes.

A mage.

User ImageHe wasn’t sleepy, he was having another one of his visions again He was attempting to be quit. However, it did not match the visions that he had. He still remembered the torture so vividly. Every bite mark that he had and the removal of his arm It was all too vivid to forget. He would turn to her, and touch her cheek with his cold metal hand. It was the only sense of warth he had ever gotten from said hand.

She tried to make his feel better, with hypnotism. He was always too smart to fall for it, at least that what he was told at the carnival. So while he calmed down, it was not her words that did so. It was the presence of being near her and hearing her voice.

His eyes turn to the male who had just made himself in. His brown eyes locked on to the white skinned male. His brown hair tied into a pony tail. The worse of his visions were gone and he only say the original people. Terrance faced the male and raised his eyebrow. “Yes I’m here sir is there is something you need?
