Cassandra nodded when the young man spoke his name and shook her hand. “I fear we’re both at fault here. It seems we both were preoccupied with other matters of the mind.” She said softly lifting one hand to brush a few strands of hair behind one ear. When he spoke about ditching out on her the young woman let out a small laugh “Trust me you’re not the first, nor the last.” The young woman said looking him in the eyes. Though she was giving her usual friendly appearance the young woman’s hunter side was analyzing the man to determine him any possible threat. It didn’t take her long to figure him out. Half breed. “I’m sorry, I’m not used to seeing anyone down this street at this hour…well besides myself.” Cassandra added with a soft laugh as she looked passed Shane to her bag she had dropped onto the floor. ‘Should pick that up soon.’ She thought silently as the young woman glanced back up at the male. Walking pass him once more the young woman reached down for her gym bag. Cassandra stood placing her bag strap on her shoulder as she was about to speak. Looking into the mouth of the dark alleyway where she dropped her bag the young woman paused when she heard her last name whispered. “Creed.” The voice hissed as a hand reached out to take her by the neck. Without thought the young woman took to defending stance and she brought her arm up to deflect the attempted attack. It happened so quickly from the graceful turn on her tip toes to elbow the attacker in the face to disarm them with a swift knee to the abdomen and backward flip that sent both her and attacker into the street. It ended as quickly as it began with Cassandra straddling a young man dressed in black.

Forgetting a moment that Shane was still there the young woman reached up towards her left shoulder to grip the hilt of her katana that wasn’t there. “I’ve always pictured what it would be like to have you on top.” The man joked as Cassandra lowered her hand realizing she was weaponless. “Looks like I got a two for one with you tonight Creed.” The man added as the young woman stood to her feet to dust off her pants. “The only thing you got tonight was being tossed flat on your a** Luke,” Cassandra said as she looked up to see Shane still standing there. Again she had a realization. This whole time she was playing the role of a harmless passerby who took interest and here she was in slight Hunter mode. ‘So much for the innocent look.’ She though trying to play it off as friendly sport between two friends. Wait it was Luke, he and Cassandra were more like acquaintance at best.

“I apologize for that.” Cassandra said lifting her bag once more from the ground. “Who’s the he?” Luke asked in a protective tone of voice as Cassandra turned back to face the man she had bumped into. “This is my new friend Shane. Shane this rude gentleman here is my acquaintance Luke.” Cassandra said tilting her head slightly towards Luke. “I’ve known you 6 years and you still refer to me as acquaintance?” Luke asked as Cassandra tossed her duffle bag towards her fellow Hunter. “That’s because I find his company more enjoyable than yours.” She said walking towards Shane. “I’ll be along shortly. Do be a dear and run this back to HQ for me.” She added looping her arm with Shane’s. “Walk with me a moment?” the girl asked. But the tone she used was more of an order than a request. “Since the jig is up I’ll just come out and say it. I know what you are Shane and by now I’m sure you know what I am.” She said walking along the sidewalk at a slow pace. “There is no need for alarm. I can assure you I will see to it that no harm will befall you tonight if not provoked.” She added giving him a peace of mind in the form of a warning.

✥ Alistaire E. Farin ✥

╔════════════════════════════════════╗

There were three men who were taking a stroll through London, baring an intimidating air, especially for those who knew what was important about them. First, what they were. Secondly, who they were,... Or rather who he was. Two men stood behind the third, keeping a certain length behind the one walking in front. Their distance from the obvious leader never grew further nor closer. The men in the back were roughly about the same height, one had black hair while the other had brown curly hair. Both wore black jackets with their hands tucked firmly in the pockets. The one at the front had a different demeanor. He had on a gray hoodie, slightly torn up jeans, and his dark blond hair was a little messy. But away from appearances and assumptions most would never guess correctly who these men were. But some would know the face of the man leading the others, all too well. He was Alistaire Farin, Lord of The Family. A royal vampire.

Sir, if you would like I could call a car for you, your time is precious after all." The man with the black hair spoke out through the silence gaining a glare from the companion at his side. "It has been a long time since I have laid unhindered eyes upon this city. I desire to see it at my own leisure. However, if your time is so precious to you then you have my permission to go." A voice angelic in all design, heavenly enough to hide the monstrosity of what nature had made him. His tone was not one overflowing with threats but he did give an annoyed sigh. The man with black hair quickly recognized his own foolishness and bowed his head showing his respects before leaving. For the way his Lord had spoken he knew it was not Alistaire granting permission to leave, it was giving an order to do so.

"This city, It always changes." The one who was left walking at his masters heels, Issac, was more than content to view the city at a slowed paced. Alistaire came to a pause on the London streets and with as a curious, perhaps boyish expression he spoke once more. "Odd what time can do when your standing still."

Shane watched with attentive eyes as Cassandra walked around him to pick up the gym bag she had dropped during the collision they had earlier. He waited a moments in silence as the woman seemed as if she wanted to speak but had a minor interruption. A name was whispered in shadows and suddenly a hand reached out to grasp the Cassandra by the neck. Instincts kicked in. Shane hunkered down in an attacking stance. His once pure blue eyes started to fade into color, switching hazel and sinking into amber. Luckily he had yet to lose himself to the thought of battle.

With movements perhaps more graceful than angels themselves, Cassandra turned on toe and delivered and attack on her own in the form of an elbow to the mystery mans face. In a few more well time actions she had brought the man to the ground and was straddled on top of him, reaching for what Shane assumed to be a weapon she did not have. These went from serious to and odd encounter.

Cassandra stood up and exchanged words with the man before turning to Shane with apologies. The man asked about Shane with a stare that could cut ones very soul. His tone matched it perfectly. "Nice to meet you?" The halfbreed slightly confused but not impolite as introductions were given. The was she acted towards Luke and the mention of Hq, Shane assumed he was another hunter. An armed looped round Shane's as Cassandra began to lead the way down the street asking him to walk with her. "Ok./b] He agreed now completely insure of what to do. Since the jig is up I’ll just come out and say it. I know what you are Shane and by now I’m sure you know what I am.” Cassandra had said making the halfbreeds heart drop.I knew who you were the second after we crossed paths." His voice now quiet and his smile none existence, replace with worry. She had offered him the comfort of knowing she would not harm him if he behaved, but needles to say his trust for hunters did not go very far. "Why? Why would you promise something like that to a rogue of all people. Isn't it your job to hunt down strays?" The words had slipped out before he had time to even think them over, but he didn't regret them.

Boy did she love the evenings. She sat at the front desk of the triage, waiting for patients, as she sipped hot coffee that was just brewed. She had been there for five hours already and was excited that in the next few minutes, she would be on her lunch. It was hard to stay awake when nothing was going on. Usually night time was the busiest, seeing as patients came in for illnesses, trouble sleeping, or crime-related affairs. She inwardly sighed as she watched the minutes drag by. She really hoped Marge would be on her way. After all, the red had been sitting there for some time, having already finished the paperwork she needed to get done.

At the sound of footsteps she turned seeing the familiar face. Marge was an older woman, with a plump figure, grey curly hair, and a kind face. She was kind but could also be stern and firm. Kitten really respected her and found her company far more appealing than the giggling RNs that usually ran about the place, ogling Dr. Stine. She rolled her eyes at the very thought of having to be paired with some of those girls. Sure Dr. Stine was good looking, but nothing to fancy. The again she knew that he was not someone to tangle with. Rumors were hard to ignore in this place, and the dear doctor had plenty surrounding him. No thanks, she would rather stick to her romance novels and quiet nights at home. Besides she was here to work and comfort patients, not tangle with the staff.

Marge spoke and the red suddenly snapped back to reality. “I’m telling ya Kit, these patients sometimes. Poor little girl in the children’s ward was scared out of her mind. She must have been delirious with fever. They say she has the case of the flu that is a recent breakout. Poor girl. I hope they can help her. Some nurses said they had to restrain her because it was so bad. Seems like a lot of children have gotten the flu lately. You better get your flu shot from Dr. Stine while you can.” The woman sighed as she heavily sat down into her seat. The red just shook her head. “I’m not really worried about the flu. It’s anything else that is going around that I am worried about. Anyway Marge, I better get going. I only have an hour and I really want to get to the baker a few blocks away.” She rose and bid the older woman farewell and headed out.

The night was calm and cloudy. It was a nice, cool even and the streets were full of light from the street lamps. She let her green eyes wander the streets noting that there weren’t a lot of people. Fine with her. The bakery was a few blocks south of the hospital. She would get there, sit down and eat, then go back to work. Easy as pie. She inhaled the air and exhaled slowly, making sure to stay in the light. Call her paranoid, but she had grown up with stories of women getting attacked by muggers in the streets. And she did not want to be one of those people.

Snejana "Snow" Romanov
"If I Cannot Fly, Let me Sing"

The night seemed to be a calm one as the Aberdonian halfbred sat on a padded bench near the windowsill of her bedroom. The woman had been caught trying to escape again, so her chain was hooked and locked against a clasp on the side of the wall in her room ajacent to her master's. It gave her enough room to move around her room and to the bathroom, but not much else. The woman sighed as she looked up at the night sky and began to hum quietly. A small bird in a cage in her room tweeted along, the woman looked over to the bird and smiled at the plesant sounds.

She began to pull out her needlework and continued to work on a bird to hang in her bedroom. Her room was relatively small consisting only of a bed, armoire and her bench. It wasn't much, but she felt somewhat safe inside it. It was then that a servant knocked on her door "Snejana" the servant said as the redhead perked her ears a bit "Des?" she said in her Russian accent "Your dinner is ready" she said as the servant opened a small hatch near the floor and slid a fancy metal tray with a bowl of meat stew and some bread through the hatch before closing it and walking away. Snow walked over to the dish and inspected it before realizing there was no utensils "Styupit Wampyres... Do dey really tink i'm deir mutt? now dey are mockink me..." she said in a bit of anger before growling a bit in frustraition and grabbing the bowl to sip out of.

Where I am: In my prison bedroom

There were stark contrasts in the atmosphere that the pub held, especially for someone like him. The slurred speech of the singer was torture to his ears, and whenever she would release one of her high pitch squeals his grip tightened. The stench of sweat and urine of the piss-faced man sitting on the stool next to him threatened to choke him. Yet every time he took another drink the woman's voice would sound like that of an angel's for split moments and the bitter stench of the man, the people, the city, would disperse. It was these split moments of bliss that kept him crawling back to the rickety seat. Raising the shot of hard liquor to his lips he downed it in one quick gulp. He had lost track of just how much he had to drink since he arrived at the pub. To be fair he stopped caring about everything upon his sixth drink. And the owner was more than happy to keep them coming so long as his consumers did not become violent.

He pounded the wooden counter as he brought the shot glass down. "Griggs," came the husky voice of the giant, "pour me 'nother." The bartender looked the man over, before turning to the stock of alcohol on the shelves, "You better be able to pay the tab this time, Hal. I've bee-" The voice of the bartender was lost as his senses began to focus on something else. His dilated steel eyes moved from the bartender to the drunkard besides him, however they didn't settle there. As he inhaled he caught the scent of a bloodsucker. His eyes sharpened on the source, a young male who had moved to start a conversation with one of the show girls. As if knowing that he was being watched the vampire turned his head to stare in his direction, but before their eyes could meet the bartender had replaced the empty shot with one filled with whiskey. The steel blue eyed male had turned to drink it just as the vampires eyes passed over him. Returning to task at hand, the vampire wrapped a hand at the woman's waist and pointed for the door. With a giddy giggle the show girl allowed herself to be escorted out. Hal stood up, and before the bartender could turn his attention back to him he had slipped out of the pub to stalk his prey.

The alley was soaked with the blood of the vampire and his victim. Hal had not killed the girl, her body was already hanging limp in the vampires arms when he had arrived. If he had moved with more haste than perhaps he could have gotten to them before the vampire could feast, but her life wasn't important regardless. In the end Hal had gotten what he wanted by removing more vermin from his hunting grounds. The disemboweled vampires wound appeared to have been made by a butcher's knife. And to make the scene look like a robbery turned into murder Hal helped himself to the cash and jewelry that the corpses had.

The hulking man walked back onto the empty streets as if nothing had happened. The smell of blood lingered on him but he had cleaned himself rather well, all save for the bloodstained coat which he had taken off.

Cassandra walked alongside the lycan half breed and listened to what he had to say in response to her statement. “True it is my job to hunt down Rogues. But it’s the ones who choose to cause harm to the innocent for sport I seek.” The young huntress said feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket. ‘A Job?’ she thought as she stopped suddenly. “My sister used to think that there was good in all things. You just have to know where to look. I like to pride myself on seeing the good in others where some see none.” She said tiling her head slightly with a reassuring smile that every word she spoke was true. “You might be thinking this is a charity case but I can assure you that’s far from the truth.” The young woman paused feeling her pocket vibrate once more. “I guess you can say that you intrigued me when we first met. Normally when I meet a rogue, vampire or lycan their first instinct is to take my life. But you, you tried to flee.” It was when Luke pulled up next to the two on a white ninja r6 motorcycle that Cassandra paused. “Let’s go Creed. We have business to take care of. Say goodbye to the stray and get on the bike.” Her fellow hunter said in a rude tone when referring to Shane as he reached down to the right side of his bike to retrieve a snow white Katana sheathed that was ornately decorated with pink cherry blossom branches. Tossing it to his fellow hunter the young man sat up straight upon the bike waiting for Cassandra to hop on.

Releasing Shane’s arm Cassandra turned and caught her sacred blade with one hand. In one swift motion the young woman secured the blade to her back by its strap where it normally rested. Flicking her hair out from behind the katana Cassandra turned to Shane as she lightly gripped the strap of her sword that rested diagonally across her torso “Do stay out of trouble. I’d hate to see you hunted down like an animal.” She said in a concerned tone of voice as she hopped onto the back of Luke’s motorcycle. Wrapping her arms around her fellow hunter’s waist the two were off.

“Why did you take interest in that monster? You of all people despise rogues most of all.” Luke said as he leaned to the left sharply to turn the corner of the street. “I have nothing personal against his kind unless they take a human life for fun. It’s Vampires I despise the most.” The young huntress admitted as the two sped off towards a hunt for a rogue Vamp. “Don’t tell me you’ve found a new Pet Creed,” the young man said in a distasteful tone of voice. “It’s nothing like that. Just a spark of curiosity that’s all.” Cassandra said as the bike came to a stop at a red light.

"Sarcasm is just one more service we offer."

It was all Ailee needed at the moment. Snarky comments from a Vampire. It wasn't any Vamipre either, it was Evan, that stupid-... Shaking her head a little, she cleared out her head and turned around to face the enemy person. Simply listening, Ailee crossed her arms and gave her a sour smirk. “I was enjoying the scenery until now.” She said simply, turned around and was ready to walk off like that, but something sparked her curiosity and she rejoined Evan. “Wait, there's nothing interesting in me being here, but what about you? Little-... uh, pet walking around the streets without her puppeteer? Now that's something they should write in the newspapers about.” Past this point Ailee couldn't help it but to blush lightly over her extremely lame pun, but the deed was done and she couldn't turn back time.

It was strange, Ailee has never seen Evan anywhere in public without Alistaire. Matter of fact she wouldn't be surprised if Evan had some deeper feelings for her Lord, as silly as it might sound. The man was an interesting person to be around that's for sure, but Ailee never had the pleasure to get past the acquaintance stage. She was never the one to get to know monsters more than she had to, which was mostly in combat.

Someone bust through the bar door behind Evan, and once again curiosity took over a lot faster than it should. “That... should be interesting.” Drunk Lycan, not any Lycan either but Aldritch of all. “I think we should leave, soon. Drunk people are usually a lot more aggressive than usually...” She made sure that the word people was distinctive enough for Evan to know she's talking about the Lycan there. Last thing Ailee wanted was to jump into another useless fight with the man, but she wasn't going to run away, not when Evan was watching. Last thing Ailee wanted was her spreading rumours about Leader the coward.

Evelynn 'Evan' Hart

Evan gave her confident giggle as the red huntress went to walk away but was drawn back but curiosities grasp. A pathetic comment was given about pet without her puppeteer, this too caused the vampire to laugh. "You absolutely adorable, you know that." Evan brushed her long blond hair behind her ear before stepping closer to the huntress. "I promise I do have reason for being your shadow this evening." The sweet voice trailed out without any effort but the womans mind did drift to Alistaire. She had not noticed it till now but his scent was distant yet close. He was in the city as well.

Before Evan could continue with her flattery a Lycan bust through the door, bringing with him the assurance that trouble was coming in with him. "I think your right, Lets leave before the opportunity to.. eludes us." Evan opened the door leading the way outside before continuing on with what she really wanted to say. "I had planned on just sending you a letter but running into you here is like, Fate. I come baring a request on behalf of The Family." Evan turned to as to see the reaction her words might have earned. Well more so the words that were coming next. "A personal request from Lord Alistaire,.. For you." Evan was often trusted with precious matters concerning subjects most of The Family would act poorly towards. This was one of them. "Lord Alistaire wishes to meet with you on neutral ground to discuss business most important. He has given you the power to choose where this meeting takes place but it must be done two nights from now. I hope you fully understand the importance of such a request as leader of your... People." It was no secret that The Family had Hatred towards the Hunters for what they did. But Evan had more reason than most to hold a grudge.

We stopped checking under our beds for monsters....xxxxxx

....when we realized the monsters were inside of us

Sitting at the very edge of the underground tunnel, her hoodie held tightly around her frame with one arm, Audrey stared up toward the cloudy night sky. Idly she nibbled on one of the hood strings as she contemplated leaving. It wasn't that she was completely forbidden from it, it was just that her wandering tended to lead her beyond Judas' territory-----intentional or not------and could leave her out way past dawns first light. For a while she'd feign that she got lost or dozed off whenever questioned about her whereabouts; but those false excuses no longer held any sort of believable merit with most of the pack members. Truth be told, though, she hated being a 'sewer' dweller. She felt trapped underground; borderline claustrophobic, even. The only way she's found to escape being dragged back by a pack member was to wander a little further than what would be considered safe.

With a huff, she allowed the dampened string to fall from her mouth as she leaned forward to rest against her forehead on her knees. Maybe it'd be a better idea if she stayed close by this night. She didn't feel like testing the extent of Judas' wrath right now, especially with the moon in a waxing state. Besides, she had already tempted fate once this week already and found herself in the proverbial dog house, as it were, because of it. She considered herself lucky to have not been tossed aside like some mangy mutt yet but was well aware of the possibility. In all honesty, she wasn't entirely sure how she had managed to survive this long without getting herself banned from the pack...or worse, terminated.......

Audrey rubbed at her face as she leaned back, a faint flush present on her cheeks brought on by her brooding. Standing up, she adjusted her hoodie as she stepped out into the open. Her shoes crunched against the gravel, breaking the silence around her. ”Just a short walk, then...” she mumbled to herself as she carried on now toward the city.

"Sarcasm is just one more service we offer."

“I'm about to get fu*king lovely then.” She hissed through her teeth, fallowing the Vampire until she came to a halt.

Message? From Alistaire? Well, that was unexpected turn of events.

She waited a second with her answer, turned around to make sure that it wasn't some sort of sick joke of theirs. “Uh-... meeting.” Muttering, Ailee looked down at her feet and did that little thing she did whenever she had troubles answering a question: lip nibbling. After a short pause, she looked up at Blondie and nodded a little. “I'll meet him outside Bar Soho, Old Compton Street. Tonight, in about two hours. Run fast to let him know.” With a slight nod of her head, she resumed her walk, just a slight wave of her hand as a goodbye to Evan was more than enough effort from her. Why so early? It stops either party to prepare a decent trap of any sort.

Phone came out her pocket as soon as she turned around the corner, away from the Vampire.

                                                                To: Cass, Andrew
Message: I need to speak to you. A.S.A.P. I'm just heading to the Church now.
                                                                [/Sending...]
                                                                [/File Sent]

                                                                Beep. Beep.

Wasn't she a popular girl tonight? Flicking through to her new messages, she found a image in her inbox. “Luke? What does he want...” Muttering lightly, she flicked through couple of distant shots of Cass with a stranger. What was so intriguing in Cass' private life? Last flick uncovered a messege that read: You might want to remind Cass who's our target. I haven't done anything to that stray, but I will if she doesn't. - Luke.

With a deep sigh, she finally found the Church in front of her. Big and majestic building that hid deep down their hideout.

Through the big door, Ailee kneeled down in the middle of a wide isle, making a cross with her hand from her forehead, to her chest and between her shoulders. Lastly, she pecked the silver cross that was wrapped around her neck on a delicate and short silver chain, after what she picked herself up and made her way through the ceremony hall and sat down in the second row from the front, staring up and waiting.
                                                                Just waiting.

Tick tock goes the clock. The red gave a shake of her head as she did her best to try and pick up the pace. She had to hurry if she wanted to get soup and then get back to work. Speaking of work, a siren blared up and zoomed past her in the streets, making her eyebrow rise. Seems trouble was ahead. She inwardly sighed and did not want to think about what lay before her. Since there was a pub up ahead, she can only fathom what had occurred. Possibly a scuffle gone very bad. She hoped that it would not affect her way to the café. That would just not be pleasant. Especially when she was so close. She could almost taste the chicken and rice soup she had been hoping for. Her mouth tightened as she was now determined to get there.

So she tucked her head down and started her walk with more speed. She most likely looked silly, head bent as she scuttled about. But at this point she didn’t care. It wasn’t like any dashing man would be around. Besides hadn’t she put off looking for “the perfect person” seeing as she had no social life. She worked nights most of the time so there was no time for dinner for two, or even time for friends. Not that her best friend Rita hadn’t tried. Boy had she been something the past few weeks, begging and pleading Kit to get out of her small apartment. That had been a nasty headache. The woman just wouldn’t let up. Of course she didn’t have responsibilities, she still lived with her parents and went to school, which her family paid for. Naturally she could use whatever money her family gave her to go out. Some people just didn’t have to be grown-ups just yet.

She got so wrapped up in her friend and the life rich people lead, that she hardly noticed the hulking figure moving closer and closer. That is until she nearly bulldozed him down. Strike one. She looked up just in time to stop her steps before crashing into the male. Crisis averted. She took a step back and breathed in a sigh of relief. Then she looked at the man that she had nearly collided with. He was tall, lean, surely full of testosterone and muscles. He also had a nice beard. A very nice beard. Did she mention he had a beard? She closed her mouth that had slowly opened, jaw surely almost hitting the floor. She was so rude. She side-stepped the male and said lightly “I’m so sorry” Before moving on. That was when she caught a scent. More than likely it was booze. Was he drunk? She glanced back at him and then noticed scratches all along his arms. Yeesh. Maybe he was the reason the sirens had gone past. This guy smelled like trouble. But….she was a nurse, and those scratches looked pretty brutal. And not in the heavy metal way. She gulped before turning back, already regretting opening her mouth. “Um sir…do you know you have scratches on your arm? I know this is bold of me, and I know we don’t know each other from Adam, but I’m a nurse at the hospital. Do…do you want me to take a look at those? Just as a precaution to make sure you don’t get an infection.” Her words were calmer then she felt. She instantly felt like she should have ignored this man. She gulped again. What if he was…one of those guys? Like a serial killer? Or those men that prey on innocent women. What if he was going to kill her right now. She watched too many crime TV shows for her own good. She inhaled, waiting for his response, twiddling her thumbs. Well, she couldn’t go back on her words, might as well wait to see what happens.

Kestrel rubbed her temples feeling a headache coming on. She was currently at work and her shift was going to end very soon. The night club was busy as it is every night and she began to wonder how people even managed to party so much everyday. She often saw familiar faces and even managed to remember the names of the regular customers. She glanced at the clock every few seconds to make sure time was still moving and not going any slower then it possible could. She was anxious to get home to her apartment and cuddle up with her Russian blue cat. The watch on her wrist began to go off in her ear and she got excited. She waved at her co-workers "See 'ya suckers!" She ran to the back and changed back into her street clothes and grabbed her knapsack and headed out the back of the club.

Kestrel sighed feeling soft air hit her skin instead of the hot, sweaty air in the club. She walked out on to the main sidewalk to find it empty as usual. She was used to seeing the streets particularly empty except for the bodies standing out in front of the clubs and bars nearby. She smiled feeling excited to go home and eat the leftover Chinese food in her fridge. She clutched the strap of her bag and headed towards the direction of her apartment which would take her approximately 20 minutes walking. Kestrel was enjoying the soft breeze outside and began to wonder if she would bump into anyone interesting tonight or just bump into some drunken guy wanting a piece of her "sweet a**". She chuckled at the thought of it. People were so fascinating sometimes.

Walking the streets to go home ; No one ; Who will I bump into tonight?

He had taken up with going on a stroll and seeing if he could sniff out any other wandering vampires. The city was filled with those crawlers and he enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, however he knew that he could only chase so many. The Family, damned self-proclaimed gods of London, held sway on many of the events that occurred. He knew the trouble he would cause if he recklessly preyed on one. However how much fun would it be to trespass into one of those bastards estates and trim down the numbers? After the last kill he was itching for more blood, maybe a bone he could chew on.

He was slightly surprised to see another person wandering the streets, at first he thought the figure might be a target, however when he focused on the scent it did not have that decrepit tinge that most vampires held. A human wandering the streets in the shadow of the day? She was either a Hunter or a fool. He decided to keep to himself, if it was a Hunter looking for one of his kin then he'd kill them as soon as they made a move. Otherwise he wouldn't bother, the average human was nothing more than livestock, easy to slaughter but it wasn't necessary to kill them off without good cause. But perhaps he could get a kick out of scaring her, a nice treat before he found something worth killing.

As he approached her he noticed that she was paying absolutely no attention to her surroundings. He stopped dead in his tracks and waited for her to come to him instead, but before her face collided into his torso she finally took notice of him and caught herself. His eyes narrowed, brows furrowed, as he waited to see what the sheep would do. Instead of saying something however she just stared at him. Slowly her mouth opened as if to say something but instead she continued to stare and stare. It irked him, "Th' hell are ye lookin' at girl? Ye got something t' say t' me?" His response came with her moving out of his way and replying with her lame apology. Typical humans, meek and pathetic. The only time they worked up the courage for anything was when their veins were pumped with brew.

He trudged forward after she moved out of his way, with the thought that she would probably not make it far if she ran into another creature stalking the streets at this hour. However he stopped dead in his tracks when her uncertain voice reemerged. He turned around to her with a look of bewilderment, scratches on his arm? Looking down from his bicep to his wrist he noticed a few wounds that have yet to heal. The alcohol must have hindered some of his senses that he had not even registered having been touched in the previous fight. He was about to ignore her completely until she offered him her help. She offered him her help? Immediately his stone gaze turned on her again, "What do I look like t' ya? Som' nancy boy who jus' jumped out his mums womb?" Did this human really think he needed her goddamn help? She was out of her mind. "T'is 'ere cuts ain't notin' t' me." He pressed his hand on his bicep and applied pressure, which caused some of the blood to ooze onto his palm, "Maybe for som' little lady like ye it be th' end o' th' world if ya got a little scratch, but not me." His voice went from being firm to near silent as he removed the distance between them and raised his bloodied hand to her face, his thumb resting beneath her chin, while his index and middle finger pushed into her cheek, "Ye better stop pissin' 'round and nuttin' into others business missy." He snarled as he moved his hand down to her collarbone and gripped it slightly, "A girl like ye, ripe for th' takin' has t' worry more about herself." He squeezed slightly as he said these words, his eyes locked on hers, "Ye better learn t' keep yer trap shut woman." He snarled, releasing her throat.

If he killed her for no reason he would no doubt attract the attention of Hunters. Her mockery of him was enough of a reason for him to kill her but probably not a good reason in the eyes of others so as much as it would have pleased him to just tear her throat she wasn't worth the consequences. Yet he wanted to see just how much he could scare her.
