Makenshi, now with his left hand free, yet still ablaze, pulled his sword from his hip and held it over handed (blade under the pinky and hilt over the thumb; correction for future use) and would perform a ninja side roll to the right to avoid an incoming shuriken that he could not see. It wasnt necessarily that he couldnt see it, but even with his kitsune senses and reflexes, blocking something that small, dark, and damned near invisible was highly unlikely. The smart move was to dodge.
After the roll he would now have his right foot and left knee planted in the ground.
Now magnetism and electricity was a problem. It was pretty hard to get in past all that. But Makenshi had an idea.
He pulled the only chaff grenade that he had on him and threw it in Ghosts direction.
Now this was simply a theory, but the way the chaff grenade worked was to release small metal strips that released electromagnetic pulses that interfered with electrical responses. Creating false connections between electronic signals and canceling them out. Technically speaking, wasnt using Ghost's electrical magnetism the same thing?
Ghost being signal A and the Kunai and shurikens being Signal B? With a chaff grenade, would that then stop Ghosts electrical abilities, even if only for about 5 seconds? Because 5 seconds was a good enough time for Makenshi.
Well, that was the theory. That with the Chaff grenade exploding, Ghost wouldnt be able to use his electricity anymore. OR he wouldnt have a magnetic signal anymore. Or maybe it wouldnt work at all.
But Ghost was relatively immobile, and that was ok.
Regardless, immediately after throwing the Chaff grenade, he would run straight at Ghost, Ninja-To in left hand, and would turn it underhanded, the way swords were usually held.
Once within a six foot range of Ghost he would perform a front flip, sword over head held within his right and left hand, so as to use his momentum and help in cutting Ghost with a downward swing. By this point the sword would be slightly heated, but not enough to seriously burn upon touching.
