Selvaron glanced over to the floor and then back to her. His eyes narrowed slightly to indicate his grin. "Mmmno." he replied simply, leading her to the dance floor and lightly bringing his other hand around to touch her shoulder blade. "I would hope that they were soft. I wouldn't want someone to be upset because my gloves are scratchy or uncomfortable."
He stepped into a waltz with her, moving them towards the center of the floor so they wouldn't get bumped into by dancers who might have wanted to move a little quicker.

Kiyo followed Selvaron in the dance and looked around as she was gliding across the floor
She caught a glimps of his eyes by accident and ended up staring into them for a while

"No one need ever fear me, except perhaps trolls." she answered, laughing softly at the last part. "Beyond that I always enjoy meeting people."

"Trolls huh? I fear for half of my guild then." she smiled, and held out her hand, "Names Tenchi, nice to meet you."

Rene suddenly feels something drop in his stomach. The beast stop eating and rushes towards the nearest restroom. In the bathroom he looks at his tounge. After a few minuets he returns to the buffet and picks up where he left off. He paied little attention to his large blue spotted spider companions, allowing them to go and travel around the large mansion and ballroom.

"You know, I think spiders are kind of nice. Nice little bugs."
*One of the spiders is repeatedly bungie-jumping over her head, and quickly skittering back up his web, pincers and forearms flailing*

"Such un-predatory behavior!"

The cat-man watches as the spider messes around. "I like them...They have so many legs...And when you poke swarms of their little ones...It looks like he is floating..." His eyes changed a bit as he talked about floating. "They all float...Don't they...?" Rene flicks his tail and continues talking about floating things.

"Yes! Like a little boat. Or... cloud?"

Amanda walked into the room more and made her way over to a two person table with white cloth and a vase with a single rose on it that was empty. She pulled her dress around her closer and slowly sat down. As she got situated in the chair a man came up and asked her what type of wine she would like. She told him she didn't care to much and as he walked away she leaned forward a little resting her elbows on the table watching the people dancing out in the middle of the room. She tried to get the steps in her head since she had never danced them before. She couldn't help but feel a little nervous inside but never once showed that she was feeling nervous so that no one could try to mock her for it. She really wished now that she had brought someone with her so that she wouldn't be in this predicament.

She walks in, glancing around at all the decorations and people gathered in the room.
She whispers to herself, "Wow, it actually looks really nice in here."
She'd never been to an event like this, but she had nothing better to do and decided it might be fun. Her eyes scope out more of the area, trying to find somewhere to get a refreshment and not look as awkward as she felt.
