    My feet they pound against the ground<br />
    There's nothing but the music and me<br />
    My legs are dancing across the stage<br />
    There's nothing but me and my feet<br />

    The piano plays<br />
    Like there won't be anymore days<br />
    Like there aren't anymore ways<br />
    To satisfy the slaves.    <br />
    <br />
    Slaves to the music.<br />
    Slaves to the dance.<br />
    Slaves to the heart.<br />
    They're now in a trance.<br />

    Dancing, dancing, across the stage.<br />
    Jumping, leaping, in my ballerina way.
