Sesshoumaru (殺生丸，せっしょうまる) is a powerful dog daiyokai and feared throughout the world as the Lord of the Western Lands. He is the half-brother of Inuyasha and the successor to the Great Dog Demon, his father. <br />

Unlike many other demons, he has no interest in possessing even one shard of the Shikon no Tama to enhance his powers, since he is already supremely confident of his own strength and he only relies on his sword to aid him. Accompanying him is a young human girl named Rin, a two-headed dragon named Ah-Un, and a demon imp by the name Jaken.<br />

3 years have passed since Naraku's demise, and now Sesshoumaru's life is fairly quiet, aside from official taking over his father's lands and doing what he should be - reigning the Western Lands. However, he does still go back to the village, where he had to leave his adopted 'daughter', Rin, to check in on her and give her new kimonos here and there...he also visits to see Kaname Kururugi, the strange Shikigami user from Kagome's time, as well.<br />

With the peace has come a new darkness though, and soon, with his lands at risk, the Inu Daiyokai will be left with no choice but to take up Bakusaiga and destroy any threat against his lands and those he has decided to, begrudgingly admitted to himself, protect...
