I came across Gaia through a link from an online game site and was curious to see what was involved. I enjoy the site, although nowadays, I don't visit as often as I used to. I've made friends here, and like to keep up with a couple of guilds, to see how everyone is doing. I enjoy the games... Word Bump and Jigsaw are particular favourites of mine, although I also like Fishing from time to time, and enjoy pwning Russell Ace at the Blackjack tables. I love my Gaian home, and have great fun working on the decor. I am a regular visitor to the Housing Arena, and also enjoy the Art and Avatar Arenas.

My interests include: cats; tai chi; films - some favourite directors are: Quentin Tarantino, Takeshi Kitano, Ang Lee, Billy Wilder, Fritz Lang, Jim Jarmusch, David Lynch, Jane Campion; books - some favourite authors are: Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, T S Eliot, D H Lawrence, E M Forster, Isak Dinesen, Iain Banks, Margaret Atwood, Steve Erickson; music - including: Michael Nyman, Philip Glass, David Bowie, R.E.M., J S Bach, W A Mozart, Tom Waits; online games - especially those like the fabulous Samorost.
