Dear Mavis,
I have currently come upon a lovely inheritance! It seems that my great uncle, on my mothers side, had suddenly fell with a terrible fever and died weeks prior to you receiving this letter. This came as shock to us all, but mainly myself and my mother that I was in his will to inherit it all! He is in a better place, and it seems I am too ;) I shall write soon, for now, a picture, to show off my riches to that snobby Mildred. Show it off where you can!
