At the time they were uncertain of whether they'd ever see each other again, so they swore that they would meet on the rooftop where they first met. He had to go off to make a living out in the vast wastes as a sell-sword, that being the only life he had ever known, and now he is back, and he remembers her beautiful smile while remaining emotionally reserved, timid that she might not meet him.
