Debuted in 1988 as a character of a self titled manga exclusive in Japan Strider Hiryu is more known as a video game character. His game debut is the 1989 arcade game "Strider" later he was introduced in several capcom games. Today he is commonly known as a playable character in the arcade smash hit Marvel Vs Capcom.
Hiryu's character is a member of Shinobi like wetwork mercenaries called the "Striders". His weapon the Cypher is a plasma generating blade with a tonfa like handle. - Date: 02/22/2010

- I tend to use Hiryu with Hayato as well Star Gladiator was a fun game. I often use Jin for a third but if I was to go projectile it would be either Ryu, Cable, or IronMan.
