- Saying, "that's not what kawaii is" isn't giving the entry enough credit. The colour scheme is simple, everything's clean and the sparkles don't look unneeded. I find it a bit too simple, but it is kind of cute. Passing marks, I'd say.

- Well, seeing as this is entered in the "original" category, I believe everyone needs to get a little creative. Which is why I have to disagree with animekittyninja on this one- This is YOUR take on kawaii. And I don't think you have to have any certain item to "make" it kawaii. Otherwise, all kawaii avatars would be the same. I like that you took creative liberty with this! Good job.

Also, smirks don't always count as Kawaii. The Strawberry Sundae and a blush of sometime could help a little more in terms of that more innocent and cutesy look. That or maybe some of the looks in items like "Princess Manor"(?) would fit better.

As a friendly head's up, I'd be careful on using the word "Kawaii" as a way to describe your avi. A LOT of people troll others just for using the word Kawaii, so expect a s**t storm for that alone.
The look itself is really cute, but I wouldn't say "kawaii" is quite the style since most things Kawaii tend to have large, bright, and open eyes. Look at Salon Durem's Chuu, Lovestruck, Peculiar, or even Sweet eyes (preferably bright like teal or pink) for an idea as to what to look for in eyes. - Report As Spam
