Envision a paradise where lives are mostly respected and where hatred is taboo. Where humans support instead of destroy when they don’t need to. Where animals are protected instead of being exploited and killed. Where relationships last long and where cheating is recognized as abuse. Where parents are responsible, careful, and supportive. Where children aren’t abandoned. Where humans aim to not prey on others. Where people aren’t treated like earthly gods for entertaining, but are praised for their genuine helpful deeds. Where rehabilitation is prioritized over sadistic punishment, with fair reason. Where facts are taught and acknowledged, but beliefs are allowed. Where science matters more than opinions. Where fairness is valued over equality. Where self-accountability is normal. Where we influence a solution mindset instead of a problem mindset. Where every individual does their part and tries.

Why be against this? Others say that it’s unrealistic and that it’ll never happen, but that pessimism is what’s manifesting the world’s downfall. It is why colorful people turn gray. It is why people lie to themselves by saying that they’re good people when they’re not. People have to stop living a lie and they have to fight the insecurity that they project. We have to be strong. Change is realistic.

The best that we can do is our best, even if it is not perfect. It is logical that we can get as close as possible to this dream, but that requires a change of actions in our own lives. If everyone would do their part, this world would be lovely. It could be happen quickly if we’d let it, even if it were not perfect. It’d improve with measurable progress. This is my dream.

ignorance is excusable

Not everything is what it seems. There’s too much hidden behind a virtue signal. A monster can appear pretty and sweet while basking in the sun, prior to aiding someone with something unnecessary. This doesn’t reveal enough about man’s false image of purity. After the moment that you confront them with the honestly-undeniable and objective truth about the participated cruelty in their everyday-actions, their two most easy courses of action are to lie, ignore, or both. If they tell the truth and accept it, then they realize that their worldview has been destroyed. The fear of fact prevents people from evolving. The light in truth is stronger than sunlight.

If you don’t change after facing and accepting the truth, that doesn’t make you a better person. That makes you a worse person.

it's your choice

I don’t tell people to change anymore. It is entirely up to them if they’re going to be vile or benevolent upon being informed. The decision is ultimately theirs and theirs alone.

There is less than 1% of of the global population that is literally trying in their actions, in a world where everyone else acts the same. Where facts and logic has lost to dogma, and where nobility is sacrificed to hedonism. Where death and suffering is ritual, and where destruction is normal.

The heart in the few will conquer after the fall of most of humanity. That is when we will see a world that is full of respect for sentient life and the environment.

why do lives matter?

Why should we not violate the lives of innocent humans?

If the answer is ‘because they’re human’, then you do not understand morality at all.

In the moment that someone loses value for human lives, they justify harming them needlessly. That is why there are kidnappers, rapists and murderers.

The reason why you should value human lives is not because they are human, but because they are sentient beings. They have the capacity to suffer and to experience pleasure. They also have the desire to live. For these same reasons, you should value animal lives. Not because they are animals, but because they are sentient beings.

is this a simulation?

It makes sense to me. We don’t have to learn everything, and we really cannot. Nature set that up. Our experience is what we know, no matter what is beyond our actual knowledge. I could care less about the simulation concept because simulation or not, we sentient beings feel and are having a similar experience. While everyone looks at the stars, wondering just like ancient civilizations did, I’ll keep my feet on the grass with my face forward. There is much to be done here.
