absolutely agree about Megadeth. from that era of metal, my favorite is Savatage. though unlike a lot of people, I like their later stuff best.
yeah, they really do. WWE can't get out of its own way anymore.
they're not struggling, but it's sad to see new hires come in and disrupt things, especially people who had momentum. though now that TK bought ROH, he at least has the ability to split the roster and give more people opportunities.
will agree that as an actual group they're not the greatest, especially not on a personal level.
hopefully they do, yeah. though Andy Williams is signed with AEW full-time and they're actively touring again instead of just taping from Jacksonville. so he might not be available. he and his tag partner are midcarders at best, but still.
nope, not at all lol
seems to be the way a lot of people were, ngl. the Attitude Era drew in a crapton of viewers, then after Vince bought WCW, the competition was gone and there wasn't a drive to put out anything worthwhile. so people dropped away. now they're so horribly stale and out of touch that it's painful to sit through Raw or Smackdown.
AEW has a lot of that old 90s feel, but I personally think they're overdoing it in some ways and the quality is dropping. too many talents, not enough spots. they are, however, bringing back a LOT of lapsed fans.
lol, I'm also old. been into wrestling since the mid-90s. WWE utterly killed my interest around the time CM Punk walked, I got back into it via Ring of Honor and reading the dirt sheets/news. then got really back into it with the formation of AEW.
np, my esoteric wrestling knowledge actually had a use for a change lol
and of course, I only know this through being into the wrestling side of things. sweatdrop
sorry to be the bearer of bad news emo
I like Fozzy, but not LIKE them. they're okay and any enjoyment I get probably comes from the wrestling association.
Andy "The Butcher" Williams is also a wrestler, rhythm guitarist for Every Time I Die. they broke up recently though.
and Frankie Kazarian is the bassist for the band VexTemper. I've never heard anything from either in all honesty, but it's more examples.
the vocals are what really turns me off from a lot of more modern metal genres. can tolerate even the heaviest instrumental without flinching, but growled/screamed vocals just make my brain go "no thanks"
of course, I'm a weirdo who literally can't filter out vocals when listening to music, so it at least makes sense.
wrestling and music related fun fact: Malakai's stable-mate is Brody King. who happens to be the lead singer for God's Hate.
love the instrumental aspect, but I can't for the life of me get into that style of vocals. forever a fan of more traditional or melodic vocals.
