Since I've been working I've had distinctly higher issues with staying on top of things and it's come to a point where writer's block has been a few month long rather than a day or less. I don't know if it's simply I've grown rusty in the time I wasn't getting into super active role-playing or if the wear and tear of daily life has just finally eaten away enough to cause me to lose what minimal sparks I had. But because of this I'm at a loss on how to proceed with trying to build and maintain roleplays. I still very much want to roleplay and to create worlds for others to be apart of but I just can't seem to find my footing as it were at keeping long-running roleplays going.
Options I have are to cut down to one on ones or small specific groups of people, which require someone else willing to work with me and I currently don't have anyone who is online that often, are on my friend's list and that I could potentially bounce ideas with.
Option two would be to continue doing groups but having some else who acts as co-GM of sorts who is willing to puppet me( more specifically my characters) in times I'm absent and help with pushing events forward in a way that maintains role-play flow and keeps things from dieing. Again, requires having one particular party in communication with me in order to make that system work.
Option three is, outside of outright retiring, would be to just do one roleplay with only one character and hope like hell other people flock in in small groups to make managing and keeping track of characters easier and less impactful on the role-play itself.
