You know what?
I'm tired of the constant changing and renovations.
I'm tired of being not able to show my real self because your afraid of what I might do
I'm tired of the constant yelling and fussing about what I can and can't do
I'm tired of being looked at as an object, a toy that you can just throw away when your done playing with me

I'm tired

I want to do what I want
I want to be able to explore every possible nook and cranny of my life that makes me the way I am, who I am, and how I am
I want to know what makes me function throughout the day
I want to be able to keep walking forward not keep taking steps back to satisfy your need of your image about me
I'm not a doll
I'm not a thing
I'm not a robot
I'm not as insignificant as you make me out to be

I am human
I am alive
I have feelings
I have morals
I have values
I have abilities
I have talent
I have an objective
I have passions
I have interests

I have what makes me, me

I like to be run around in wide open spaces
I like crying from time to time to cleanse the inside of myself
I like yelling at the top of my lungs to release anger and frustration

I might not be the best, but, dammit, I'm something to appreciate...SOMEONE to appreciate

I might not that happy-go-lucky image in your mind, but I have created one for myself

I might not be that super special person in your dreams, but I made something of myself

And I might not be that great at certain things, but what I can do, is spectacular

I don't need you to,
Appreciate
Understand
Want
See
And Love me for who you want me to be

I just need you to appreciate me for me
I just need you to understand me for me
I just need you to want me for me
I just need you to see me for me
I need you to love me for me

I NEED to know if you CAN appreciate me for me
I NEED to know if you CAN understand me for me
I NEED to know if you REALLY want me for me
I NEED to know if CAN see me for me
I NEED to know if you HONESTLY love me for me

...And only me...
