[Slianna, Rilia, Safiri, and Lavender have one section of the eighth grade room with Celebi to join them. The rest of the boys have the seventh grade room. Riolu, Grovyle, and Leafeon are already asleep. Topher, Pachi, Cruce, Al, and Nic remain awake.]

Al: So Cruce... It looks like we get that sleepover after all...
Cruce: [He is laying with Pachi curled up and snugging next to him. Topher is also laying next to him, using one of his tails as a pillow.] Yup.
Nic: They look comfy... [Sitting up against a desk.] And so do you.
Cruce: Hmhm, I am. These two are all soft and whatnot. Plus it's pretty cold, and I doubt you guys would let me snuggle with you.
Al: Dude, you barely even know Pachi.
Cruce: ...Seriously... I know Pachi... He's been talking to me in my head for years.
Al: You look like you just would rather be with him than us or something.
Cruce: What choice do I have in a kind of situation like this? Pachi knows what he's doing. He doesn't fall into an icy hole and almost get himself killed.
Al: D'you want me to pull your tails off?
Cruce: I don't know what your problem is, dude... You think I'm all happy I'm suddenly this important person? I don't--
Al: Don't brag about it! You said you always wanted something amazing to happen to Earth, and you got your wish! You've killed hundreds of thousands of people, happy?!
Cruce: Al... could you... please keep it down?
Al: I don't have to listen to you... you're not a friend.
Cruce: ...What do you want from me...?
Al: ... [Ignores Cruce...]
Cruce: You want me to just hang out with you all the time and neglect what is going on around us...
Al: [He sighs... still ignoring Cruce.]
Cruce: You know what? Maybe you should've thought of hanging out with the Circle more often. I don't know why it's always just me coming over your house. What about Nic? What about Ivan? Bongo? Pat? Emelina? It's like you're embarrassed to be around me or them or something.
Al: I am now.
Cruce: You aren't even listening to me... You hastily declare me no longer a friend of yours when in truth you're the one who is neglecting his true friends... who cared to help him... who wanted to make school a little less hellish... You just don't care enough about us to make this friendship complete.
Al: ...Whatever. [Looking away.]
Nic: [Looks at Cruce and shakes his head.] Just let it go.
Cruce: Will do. I'm comfortable here with my friends as it is. [He rests his head on Pachi's and closes his eyes.] I'm going to sleep. Good night, Nic. And Al... now's not the time to really be fighting, okay? Try to get some sleep... worry about this tomorrow.
Al: [Saying nothing, he stands and walks away from Cruce, though in agreement with his plan.]

Nic: [Lets out a long sigh...] ... [He leans in, petting Cruce's head a few times.]
Cruce: [Opens his eyes, curious.] Mm...?
Nic: To think all of your visions had this much meaning behind them.
Cruce: [Looks up at Nic.] ...Yeah...
Nic: [He ruffles Cruce's head fur a little before leaning back up against the desk.] ...Just be careful... G'night.
Cruce: [He smiles.] ...Thanks... and... 'Night. [He rests his head back on Pachi's, though waits a bit in uncertainty before closing his eyes.] (...Be careful...) ...
