Background Information
Tatsuma was born under the star of fate and death. The night he was born there was a huge fight between the Uchiha and the Senju Clan. This fight took place right on the border of the Hyuuga Clan territory. Because of the great power both clans had on their sides the Hyuuga avoided losing any people. A stray attack from an Uchiha set the birthing house a blaze. The fire killing six new borns but to the luck of one of them the Hyuuga head went in to the burning building to save who ever he could.
The Hyuuga clan retailiated and went after the two clans to stop them from fighting. In the cross fire of the battle was Minako and Tatsunosuke, Tatsuma's parents. They both were killed that day. The next morning the Hyuuga elders held a council meeting about what to do with the child that belong to the son of Tokenai Hyuuga. Once Tokenai reached the meeting he heard of a plot to have the Hyuuga's head to raise him and steal the treasure of their ancestors. Tokenai asked for them to have Tatsuma sent to the Branch Family and off to the Mist Village to stay with his uncle. Because of his parents kindness they accepted. Tatsuma's Grandfather, Tokenai who's father was a descendant of a great Shinobi from the Clan but due to the records no one knew how far back his family went in the clan. Telling them its because his son died making the child a disgrace to the clan for his fathers sin of dying.
Tatsuma grew up like most Hyuuga children although he kept to himself a lot more than the other. Once he started the Academy at age eight every time he made friends they always mysteriously got harmed around him while he didn't. At the same time he had received his Hyuuga seal. Tatsuma was branded as bad luck through out the academy. As Graduation time came along Tatsuma graduated number one in his class. He was also great when it came to the Hyuuga styled skills. He already awakened his Byakugan and was adept in the fluid styles of the Gentle Fist.
