Ruthless fathers..
I was haveings uch a great day yesterday i was finishing up class and i was doing pretty well on my finals... And then i get home my dad coems home from his business trip... He wasnt to go camping the week before school starts... Which is the last week of august. But the thing is this next week i get to do nothing, and then the week after that i'm traveling, then the week after that I have band camp that's 9am-8pm Mon-Fri and so i'm going to be exaughsted then the week after that*(the week before school starts) we havfe 2 more days of band camp then my dad wants to take the family camping for 3 days and then i have the weekend to chill then school starts... I"M going to crash and burn so badly and the thing is I told my dad that I don't want to go camping because I just want to rest and do nothing before school starts to I can calm down and just kinda veg and he said that I can't and I'm just going to ahve to deal with going camping with the family, because I might as well be spending time with them if i'm going to be doing anything at all. He thinks I don't want to go camping because I want to spend time with my boyfriend or just don't want to be with the family at all because you know us teenagers we like to rebel against everything that them parents say and don't like to conform or do anything parent related... So he wont' listen to my explaination at all won't even let me speak about it. He asked me about when the oriantation was and when i told him he said no on the school webiite it said that iw as the week of band camp, which makes no sense at all because the reason that they're only having band camp 2 days of the following week is because they don't want to have to deal with the orientation, though it hasn't really been a problem before.. Sooo... When I told him that, or tried to tell him that he wouldn't listen to me and just went to his room to his girlfriend saying yeah michaela says that they're having orientation the week after band camp when I want to go camping because she just doesn't want to go camping and he yelled that to make sure that I could hear him and he's being a total brat about it and not thinking of me at all and he takes me doen' so well in school for granted he thinks that I can keep doing this forever and that I'll do excelent in school without totally crashing in burning, but if I don't get those weeks for rest even if its not that long I"m going to total.ly crash and burn and there's no way to get through to him because he won't listen at all and he thinks that's the right way to go when it's not... *sigh* well i'm done ranting right now because my journals wigging out on me so yeah.. those are my problems... razz
