today was my first day back to school after a two week long vacation.talk about harsh return to reality.well i would have been over joyed to go back to see my friends,only problem is is that i've had a terrible cold for about a week.u know how u get those colds where u feel exhausted even though u did nothing and ur nose won't stop running and ur throat never stops hurting?well thats what i've got.u would think my mom would let me stay home and let me go back to sleep like i wanted to,but no.she says i have to be throwing up or running a fever for me to stay home.well she took my temperature and it turns out i was three degrees below where i should be.well that didn't help at all.then i told her how i didn't want to get all my friends sick with this god forsaken disease.she said that we had to be touching each other for them to get it.thats a down right lie because i've gotten colds from kids who i've hardly even talked to let alone touching them. so then i said what about my running nose and sore throat? she did the same thing she always does,she gives me pills and says they work all day long and they do a great job.well the stupid things seemed to never even kick in.i went around all day with my running nose and sore,scratchy throat with nothing to ease the pain.also my friends quickly realized that i had something they didn't want to get,so they kept a clear path of me all day.stupid cold. stare i wonder y my mom seems to think pills solve everything. i'm pratically immune to them now.so now she thinks that means i need to take more.forget it.i've had enough of those things.i just need to sleep.speakin' of sleep, i think i'll go to bed now.*yawn*
