You know the drill.
I'm not sayin' it was you...
I'm sayin' it was Ringo...

Pieces of zombie RP.

For no reason.

Kio tentatively shuffled along the wall of an unlit corridor, a slight light from the windows illuminating him from the opposite wall. A faint sound clattered somewhere in the distance; he flattened himself further into the wall as he felt the sweat gluing some of his light hair to his forehead. Flinging himself foreward, Kio stumbled and ran down the hallway, throwing himself against every other door, trying the handle, and proceeding to the next conveniently locked door. His shaking hand finally grabbed a knob that clicked open... He opened the door and ran inside, slamming it behind him.
Collapsing onto the floor, Kio warily raised his head to see only bathroom stalls rather than ghouls, and let out a sigh of relief. He was almost embarassed at how scared he was. I mean, really. Zombies...? He realized the surreality of the situation and let out a low, choked laugh, the sound of it echoing off the walls of the empty lavatory.
...Scratch that. Not empty...
A similar sound was grossly projected from the third stall, a guttural cough echoing into Kio's ears. His eyes widened as the being stirred and stood. The decaying fingers of a dead girl grabbed at the edge of the stall door and her egg-yolk eyes stared back with a sad, sick determination.
"********."
Kio rose as fast as he could, his moan of frustration matching that of the creature who began to follow in close pursuit. The weight of his schoolbag seemed to multiply with each step. He stopped to fling off the strap and met a face he had not recognised as well before...this girl was a sophomore he had talked to once or twice...about eight feet away, now a hunched, moaning, animated corpse. Kio's mind flashed to his bag, then to the window on his right. The girl lunged at him as he hoisted the heavy schoolbag with a grunt and swung it at her. The force hit her squarely in the chest, propelling her backward into the window which crackled and crashed with the weight of impact.
To Kio's dismay, this plan hadn't worked like he thought it would in his mind. The girl was now bent over backward on the windowsill with a large shard of glass impaled through her once-beautiful and young body. Blood dripped furiously down the wall.
"That looks uncomfortable..." he murmered dumbly. The zombie girl shrieked and flailed, trying to unbend herself from over the ledge; Kio sadly grimaced at her as he grabbed her by the ankles, tearing the glass away from the blood-gushing wound in her rotting flesh and shoving her over the edge.
He faced away from the broken window and grazed his slimy hands over his jeans. He shut his eyes hard, trying to blink his reality away. When he opened them, he was still in his school....his now zombie-infested school....still trying to find safety and humanity.
The sole of his shoe spoke a little squeak as he turned to continue trying doors quietly down the hall.

*stuff by heather and haley*

Kio’s ears sharpened to his surroundings as he walked down the abandoned corridor. His shoes were beginning to stick to the ground a little, just enough so they made a faint snapping sound each time they parted with the floor. God knows what I’ve stepped in.
More importantly, how can I think of God at a time like this?
He abandoned his schoolbag and began thinking about more effective weaponry. Maybe the music room had a nice, metal instrument for hitting ghoulies with…? A blowtorch in the art room? He let himself laugh, picturing himself whacking a zombie over the head with a trombone.
Kio never liked acting like it, but he was pretty effing scared at the moment. His slim body wracked with the occasional tremor; his skin was slick with old sweat and fresh blood. A hunger from lack of breakfast was currently nagging him. He found it almost comical in the current situation. Brushing aside his shaggy blonde bangs, Kio shrugged back his shoulders and proceeded to try the doors again. The hallway was reminiscent of a horror video game the way so many doors were locked, he mused.
Locked…locked…locked…this one too…
The room on the corner of the hallway seemed to emit a small sob as he walked past it. Kio twitched with the unexpected noise, but felt compelled to take a step back and peer into the door’s window. An indistinct silhouette moved shakily inside. He watched stand…heard the sound of something tumbling down and another vocal sound. He jiggled the handle; of course it was locked.
“Hey in there, are you alri-“
His low, soft call jolted to a stop in his throat. Around the corner was a loud bang…bang…bang…crash. He whipped around to see a broken-open door…in the classroom a girl screamed as one of “them” approached her.
Kio gasped audibly. A survivor!
The zombie groaned, head askew, turning toward the sound of a new entrée.
Kio felt immediate panic as the thing waddled a little in his direction; stepping away, he backed up against the wall. He looked down and caught the desperate green eyes of the girl in the classroom as the zombie lunged with full force at him.
The zombie had to have been an athlete in his living years, because the sheer weight of him fell on Kio, and all of the sudden he was pinned to the ground. He desperately gripped the zombie’s decaying shoulders, barely holding his gaping, putrid mouth off his own skin.
“H-h..help…HELP..!” he shouted. “Errraahhh! Someone!!” He used all his strength to straighten his arms to their full length, getting this creature as far away as possible. The zombie bore down harder and harder; Kio went for a chance. He lifted his head with full force and beat it against the zombie’s eight times in succession.
Well, that didn’t work.
Kio felt nauseatingly dizzy immediately. He wanted to sleep. He wanted some food….as he looked up into the face of the zombie coming closer …he wanted to die. Not like this, though. The smell of this dead thing hit him, and it was the last thing he could take.
“Uuuuughhh..”
His arms weakened and he groaned loudly as the strength of his arms left and his eyes started to close.

Uhm...yes then. Enjoy not getting what's going on.
