Points Available for Kindergarten:
+ Any classroom Rp, in which at least three good-sized (small paragraph or more) posts are made, is worth 2 points.
+ Any classroom Rp, in which at least six good-sized (small paragraph or more) posts are made, is worth 5 points.

+Elementary school
Elementary is where the real learning begins- and only SM's in the child stage will be enrolled in this 'grade'. SM's are divided up into classrooms, with one or two teachers assigned to each small group. Elementary school is where your SM really gets the hang of school, and starts to make friends.
Points Available for Elementary:
+ Every classroom-based RP participated in w/ 3-5 posts receives 3 points.
+ Every classroom-based RP participated in w/ 6 or more posts receives 7 points.
+ Each completed book report or homework paper receives 5 points.
+ A field trip-RP participated in w/ at least 3 posts is worth 6 points.
+ Any other homework assignment is worth 4 points.

+High School
Aaaaah... the angst! The aaaaaangst! *cough* xd Well, now is the time that your SM is going into fun fun high school, and start to discover what it wants to do with the rest of its life. You may only enroll a teenager into high school, (unless you have an original SM- then an adult can be either a teen or an adult!) however, if it becomes an 'adult stage' before it graduates, it may stay in high school. You'll have to enroll your SM in individual classes this time, since each course is taught by a different teacher. And if your little SM reaches graduation, it can go its merry way to college! ... o_o Let's hope you taught it the difference between right and wrong. Eep!
(Available courses will be listed in the very first post.)
Points Available for High School
((Here the point system changes a little bit))
+ 30 points are required for graduation
+ 5 points are received per passed class
+ Teachers will assign point values for assignments
+ Non-classroom based RP, still school related (for example: school angst, scandal, crush, etc... fun stuff Em likes to read... XD), 5 points is awarded per SM who participates. Rp must be at least 2 pages long.
+ Leading or creating an rp for an after-school sport, club, or other school-affiliated activity earns 8 points (also known as: it's WORTH it!) Those who participate are awarded 3 points.
+ Participating in graduation earns 7 points.

College!
College is the real deal, the end of the road for your SM's school 'career'. It's been a long road, and it's been a lot of work! However, the rewards are worth it: any SM who graduates from college is immediately given the option to become the sought-after, anthro 5th stage, completely free of charge. College is geared toward each individual SM's personality, and classes are based around their talents and choices.
To become a fifth stage, at least 100 points are needed, and there must be 25 points from college. (If you already have 100 points by the time you graduate high school, you have to get 25 additional points, still, in other words, from college to become a fifther.)
Your SM must be in either the teen or adult stage to enroll in college- however, it may not graduate college (aka, become fifther) until it's in the adult stage.
All points for the college experience will be worked out on a case-by-case basis.

ADDITIONAL INFO/FAQ Q: Does my SM HAVE to go to school? A: Nope, it's completely up to you.
Q: Are all of the grades mandatory? A: Again, nope. You can "home school" your SM at any of the period you wish- aka, not have them in school for, say, elementary school, or high school- however, 'home schooling' does not earn any points.
Q: Can I help teach? A: Sure! Just mail Emelyn, and she'll set choo up! Your adult SM's may also be teachers- so if you think one of your brood'd be interested, we'll work it all out!
Q: I've started an after school program for high school, and want to know if I can award additional points for the participators. May I? A: Contact Emelyn w/ the proposal, and she'll decide, but sure! ^_^
Q: What if my SM graduates with the highest points, at high school? A: Ever heard of a little thing called valedictorian? 3nodding
Q: How many classes does my SM have to sign up for during high school? A: As many or as few as you want- however, if they don't pass because they've taken on too much and can't complete the course, they dont get the points for it!
Q: I have an original SM! gonk So they can't go through school, but I still want them to participate!! What do I do? A: They can still participate in college or high school, and we'll work out the point system for them so they'll be able to graduate without backbreaking work. heart
Q: Cool, how do I sign up? A: In this thread! I'll have the sign up stuff in the next post. Just copy the information and post it w/ your SM's specifics right here.
((If you have any other questions, just PM Emelyn, and I'll add your question here if I think more people need to know it.))
