Kailee slid into Art early, eager to check out the classroom before the lesson had started. Oh, and speak to her Uncle, of course. Man, having all of her family members running around, teaching classes and -being- in classes was... well, extremely unnerving. But fun!

"Uncle Baaaandaaaa~" Kai called for her uncle in a sing-song voice, dumping her backpack onto a stool close to the 'teacher's' desk and bouncing towards the blackboard. "Are you heeere? Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

Kai stuck her tongue out at Odd, then flounced over to her seat, moving her backpack to the floor and settling herself on the stool at her table. High school seemed completely normal to her - after all, she was just about the right age to be attending... in SM years, anyways. It didn't seem to bother her that Odd had moved to the back of the class, either. He was prolly just bad at art.

"Yeah, I know! I guess great minds think alike, huh?" Kailee grinned, rubbing the tips of her ears with her fingers. To be honest, she was probably just as bad at art as Odd was. She should've tried to see if there were any classes in cooking, instead. But Lenta had insisted she take at least three classes, and Art sounded like one of the more fun ones, sooo... Here she was.

Milla lurked in the doorway- it was her last class of the day, and she felt something that this opinionated little SM had never really felt before- intimidation. This class was filled with older SM's, and it wasn't like the teacher was one of her siblings or her mother... she wasn't going to just 'breeze' by in this course by knowing how to work the teacher. And she wasn't... particularly good at art.

She slinked in, and saw an anthro SM she'd never met, and Odd, who she'd only met once, talking. She didn't want to edge in on their conversation, but she also didn't want to be alone, so she slid near them and said a small "Hello".

Odd looked up at the pair that had just entered and grinnde. "Hey, teacher's not here yet so we're just hanging out. I'm Odd, and I know you're Lundy...who're you?" he said, turning to Milla. He hadn't seen the SM for a looong time...was this the little orange Hawaiian infant he had seen before SMs had been shut down? He thought it was. He couldn't be sure.

((Short, but I'm blahful today. xd ))

"Tawn is your older brother, right?" he said, nodding. "Yeah, I've heard of him. Never really gotten to know him well, but I heard he's a nice guy. You've got a sister too, right? Tam...?" he said, trying to remember her name. He thought it sounded like Tawn's...maybe he was wrong...But she was one of Emelyn's, huh? Rai spoke so highly of Em...Milla would probably be pretty nice too, was his guess.

Odd chuckled. "You get used to sitting on them after a while," he said, understanding Lundy's plight. Rai had a pass-through window at her house accompanied by several stools, which he had to get used to since they ate dinner there so often ((why not the table? Those chairs were normal)). "At least y'didn't fall off like I did," he said with a grin, trying to soften the atmosphere with one of his own faults. He tended to do that. Oh well. (( xd ))

His first day and he was late. And he was the teacher! This couldn't look good... But..but it wasn't his fault! He had been busy all morning trying to find somewhere for Venoch to stay while he taught.. He couldn't just leave the kid at the appartment, after all, not as young as he was. But he had found someone, and he had -almost- made it in time...

Oh well!

He quietly slipped into the classroom and closed the door behind him, taking a moment to glance around the room, before nodding slightly in apology and starting fo his desk. "Sorry I'm late. Some, er, home problems," he mumbled, more to himself than anything. Pausing at the desk, he dug through a small stack of papers and finally picked one out, glancing over it and blinking in surprise. Looking up, he picked out Kailee and Odd, blinked once more, then grinned brightly. Well, good, now he wouldn't have to be terrified.

Clearing his throat, Banda set down the paper and turned to the class, absently clasping his hands behind his back. "Right, so.. I'm Banda. Don't call me Mr. anything, please, it makes me feel old. Um... This is an intro to Art class, covers the basics in a variety of medians, and, once we work out who's good at what, we'll go into specifics for each of you. Um..."

He paused briefly, glancing around the room, though not at the students--at the bare walls. Erk, that would have to change. How dull. Snapping back to the present, he took a moment to figure out where he had left off, then continued, "You'll all have to have some patience with me... I've never taught a class before, and, I, er...can't hear, but I think we'll manage. Right, so, today we're going to start out with basically a free for all.. On your 'desks', you'll find just about all the supplies you'll want or need during this class. Take your pick, draw or paint something to be turned in at the end of class. This is just to give me an idea of your abilities so I know where to begin... Yes, well, have fun."

Assignment: Create (or find) a picture to portray your SM's talent level. As this is not a lesson, no points will be awarded, but it -will- effect values of other lessons.
