"Hello, my name is Tawn, and I'm going to be your Health teacher this semester. Please take your seats, and I want to get to know all of you a little better before we begin- first come first serve, come to the front and introduce yourself."

-Lundy got up from his seat near the front and stood next to his desk. He didn't really want to stand infront of the class, so he stood there, instead. He cleared his troat and lowerd his scarf, that way he wouldn't muffle his words.-
"Hi, I'm Lundy. I'm taking this course to better learn about health and maybe overcome my small paranoi of germs."
-He quickly sat back down and pulled his scarf back over him mouth and nose. He felt like he stood up like all those people did on the rehab channel.-

Odd gulped and stood at the front of the class, looking around. "Uh, hi, I'm Odd, and I want to be here because I'd like to learn how to help my little sister if she ever gets hurt," he said. He blushed a deep red beneath his skull. He felt too old and his reason sounded stupid coming out of his mouth. He quickly took a seat next to Lundy, eyeing the scarf around his mouth. Germaphobe, eh? That was a good reason. Odd himself wondered if he could learn more about his own disability. He had such a hard time focusing, and without that pill he took every morning...He didn't even know what was in the pill. But they never seemed to run out. Maybe Tawn could help him?
Well, he was open to anything. And with all the trouble Ayumi got into, it would be good to know how to help her.

Tawn listened intently, and when both of his students sat again, he directed a more in-depth question to each of them. He wanted to get to know them better, and try and help them towards a goal- the actual assignments weren't as important as this.
"Lundy- let me ask you a question... have you always been afraid of germs? Are you afraid of getting sick, or do you dislike them for another reason? ....And Odd... that's a great goal. Are you planning on going to college to be a doctor?"

-Lundy rubbed at his arm slightly then spoke through his scarf, doing his best to keep his words unmuffled.- "Germs..well, I geuss I have. Ever since I was a little 'un I'd allways stay to the side when everyone else went swimming, or played in the mud. I've only been sick once..and it wasn't the best feeling..." -He trailed off then looked at Odd, waving a paw slightly, even thought he was sitting right next to him.-

Odd grinned and waved back, then looked over at Tawn. He nodded. "Yeah, actually, I was gonna find a good college once I get out of highschool, and after that go to Med School," he said, grinning. Helping Ayumi was only part of it - he had always been fascinated with the functions of SM and human bodies. It just all...fit. If there was a problem, there was a cause. There was one solid answer, never open ended. It just...worked. He liked that feeling of security, that there was always a solution.

"Well that's just great!" Tawn said, listening carefully to both of his students. "Well then, since you both seem to have a pretty good idea why you want to be a part of this course, it sounds like you wouldn't be too adverse to my sculpting each of your lesson plans individually, based off of your goals. But first, I'd like you to create a short list of two or more goals that you want to come away with this class from. It will be worth one point, and then I can make each of you an entirely individual plan, based on what you want to do." Tawn grinned.

Odd nodded and pulled out a fresh notebook, pulling out a pen from his worn leather bag. He quickly wrote down "GOALS" at the top and underlined it, scrawling out the date and his name in case it fell out. He tapped the pen several times and began his list:Odd's paper - To be able to know how to spot certain sicknesses - To be able to know how to fix certain injuries - To understand the workings of the SM body

Lundy nodded slightly, more to himself than anything. He took out a mechanicle pencil from his pocket, then pulled out a small notepad from his messenger bag. He ponderd for a few moments, then started to write.
"-To understand how bacteria works.
-To avoid sicknesses and getting sick.
-How to clean out cuts and sores.."
As he wrote down the last bit, he remeberd his little brother and how scratched up he had been.

Tawn poured over their reasons.
"Alright. Those are certainly do-able. Well, you both basically said how to understand illness, and how to avoid those illnesses. Which would you like to begin with- Monkey Pox, the common cold, the uncommon cold, or the Skull Flu?"

Odd paused, thinking about it for a second. Monkey pox and Skull Flu were most appealing to him. "Um...Monkey pox?" he said, then nodded, becoming more sure of it. "Yeah, Monkey pox." He'd heard his mom talk about small pox and he wondered what it was for a Skull Monkey. He knew it gave humans horrible scars or pock marks...or was that small pox? He shook his head. He was getting distracted again. He looked back up and focused on Tawn again.
