Meaning of Name: Earth

Personality: Avani is a sweet and friendly kimera who simply enjoys life. She is so caring for others that she tries to help them enjoy life as well. Of course, if they should get annoyed by this Avani instantly feels guilty. This is probaly one of the things that upsets her the most. Other than fighting, of course. She is so kind and caring that no one has ever seen her angry before.
Background: Faunia found Avani's eggs without a nest or parents around and took her in. Faunia has raised Avani and helped her to have an enjoyable life. Although, there are times when Avani wonders what happened to her real parents and why she was abandoned...
Connection to Faunia: Faunia was wandering about through the woods one fine afternoon, and had not realized that her little hike had taken her closer to the abandoned city than she had thought... Without realizing it, she had stumbled upon a family of serpopard's terrirory. Fortuanaly for the human, none of the protective parents were there. However, Faunia did find their massive nest, and in it one egg. Faunia was surprised by this, for usually a nest would not be abandoned by a kimera like this. Faunia waited for a while, hidden, to see if the parents would return. When they didn't, Faunia grew worried about the egg and it's warmth. Not sure what else to do, she took the egg and watched over it until it hatched into little Avani. Although Faunia had gone back to look for the parents multiple times, there were not to be found. So Faunia raised little Avani herself. Now she lets Avani run free, but Avani is free to return to Faunia any time if the little serpopard is ever in need of food, water, warmth, comfort, or friendship.
Life Goal: To live a happy life and to help others around her.
Reason for Alignment: Avani believes in peace between all creatures. She does not understand why everyone must fight and believes that humans can co-exist with kimera. She also forgives humans for nearly destroying the planet and thinks they are really good creatures.
Likes: Making friends, helping others, spring and summer days, natural things, and happy things in general.
Dislikes: Fights, when others are sad, angry, or annoyed, when she lets others down, and other dark, unhappy things.

Personality: Fleta is a curious little mini-raptor who loves to explore. This curiosity, however, often times gets her into a lot of trouble, usually leaving Avani frantically trying to help her. She is a bold little creature, however, and is willing to stand up to the greatest of kimera for her friends.

Connection to Faunia: He is somewhat familiar with her through his mother, however he has only seen her a few times. He sees her as a grandmother like figure since she raised his mother.
Life Goal: To become a strong worrior and protect his family and those who are precious to him.
Reason for Alignment: He follows Sarlost, for he grew up hearing the goodness in her ways from his mother. He plans on become a strong knight for her and helping the Goddess on her quest to try and attain peace between all creatures.
Likes: Being with his siblings and family, hunting, training, learning and becoming strong
Dislikes: Feeling weak or surpassed by someone else, being unable to do anything, Syn and anyone who threatens his family and friends

Background:
Connection to Faunia: Like Teshi, him and this human know eachother through their mother. However, he does not express any sort of bond with her. Although he doesn't show it, he is fond of the human.
Life Goal: To become a wise and cunning spy and to surpass his siblings in talent, even though he is the youngest.
Reason for Alignment: He knew that he would always be destined to follow Sarlost. He does follow her full heartidly, but the reason for this seems to be more for himself than others. Perhaps he sees this as a game to test ones strength, and the only way he can win is by protecting the Keep.
Likes: His family, hunting, surpassing his siblings in talent, being stealthy, knowing exactly what's going on.
Dislikes: Failing, getting beaten, loud noises, confusion in his own mind.

Tynan

Meaning of Name: Dark
Nicknames: Ty-ty
Mate: None
Personality: Tynan is usually a calm griffin but has been known to have a hot temper when angered. He is powerful and at times shows his great wisdom. Tynan tends to be distant from others by hiding his emotions away from them. Tynan his very protective and loyal to his pack, even willing to risk his own life for them. Even so, he can still be distant from them by never speaking of himself or his past.
Background:We do not know a lot about Tynan's past, but I assume it is a painful one. Perhaps that is why he wears those heavy chains?
((Note: -cough- Yes, I do have a past planned out for him that I am just dying to post in here, but I will only let you know his past through role plays. Muahaha, aren't I evil? Perhaps your pet can be the one to finally get Tynan to tell his dark, sad secret!))
Connection with Faunia: One day, Faunia was wandering through the city trying to find the possible parents of an egg she had recently come across (this would later hatch into little Avani.) As she was wandering about, she suddenly heard the clanging of chains from in a dark alley. Confused, she peered in to find a great griffin (Tynan) who seemed badly injured and massively bleeding. Before Faunia could do anything, the griffin collapsed and was unconscious. Being the caring yet foolish humans she was, Faunia went to help the badly injured kimera. It was then that she noticed those heavy chains. The seemed to burden the grif, so she went to get a tool that would cut metal. She returned quickly, tended to his wounds, and was about to cut the cuff around his neck when suddenly the griff's golden eye opened wide. Furious, Tynan leaped up, flinging the human back. Before Faunia could do anything else the griffin took off without a glance back. Since then, Faunia has seen short glimpses of the kimera and wishes that he would let her help him.
Life Goal:To be strong and protect his pack.
Reason for Alignment: Tynan hates humans for some reason. Perhaps they have done something terrible to him and he has learned to resent them. He doesn't attack every human in sight, but he strongly resents them and would prefer to be far away from them.
Likes:Being with his pack, flying, sometimes fighting, and dreaming
Dislikes: Humans, anyone who threatens his pack, overly confident fools, anyone who tries removing his chains, and when someone tries to learn more about his past.

Nickname: None
Personality: Lorne is a highly intelligent little fox who is very loyal and dedicated to Tynan. He sees Tynan as his protector and will obay only to him unflinchingly. Lorne is very observant and quick to learn, especually when instructed by Tynan. Although Lorne is not constantly by Tynan's side, he is never too far away.
Known Tricks: Lorne has been taught to come when called, ride on Tynan, spy, track, and hunt (for himself). He is in the process of learning how to fight.

Elsu

Meaning of Name: Flying Falcon (do not ask why XD)
Nickname: Sparky (Given by Storm's pet Sakina)
Mate: None
Personality: Elsu is sorta...mysterious. He's quiet, watchful, and clever. He is very calm and does not flinch in the face of vicious kimera. Elsu seems to be very confident in himself, perhaps overly confident. There is a side of him that, I believe, loves competition. Elsu wants to show his strength and power and is so confident that he will perhaps accept any challenges. Still...not much is know about him.
Background: All we know is that he has come from a land far away from this one. He seems to have been traveling around for a long while, trying to find some place where he can live the rest of his days. We know nothing else about him...
UPDATE Elsu's pack was the last of the carilupes as far as he knows. They were against the gods, trying to weaken them through out the generations. But when Sarlost built the keep and Syn began building up his armies the carilupes failed at this task. Soon Syn began sending out groups of his followers to hunt down these packs of carilupes until Elsu's pack was the only one left. In time Syn's troops found his pack as well and killed them. Elsu escaped, but he was still only a child left in a vast, cruel world all alone.
Connection with Faunia: There have been some few, quick glances of this kimera by Faunia herself. However, Avani has met Elsu, and has told Faunia about him. Faunia is very curious as to what Elsu is like, but does not know what he would think of her...
Life Goal: He have recently discovered that Elsu's goal is to get revenge for his pack by continuing their goal and defeating the gods. Elsu finds himself faced with this almost impossible task, but perhaps his demon blood will somehow bring him to victory?
Reason for Alignment: Um...Because indifference is cool? I don't know. When I said we don't know much about him, I meant it!
Likes: Being alone, traveling, and being challanged. (I think...)
Dislikes: Anyone who claims to be a god, losing, and cowards who back down from a fight.

((-cough- Now, I know up there I said that I don't know much about him, but what it really means is that YOU don't know much about him. Like with Tynan, I have everything planned out for him! His background, life goal, everything! But, you must role play to find all of that out!!! Muhahaha! Now I have two pets with mysteries!!! Aren't I evil? Well, good luck....

Meaning of Name: Flames or Fire
Nicknames: None
Mate: Chaos heart
Children Keahi has recently layed five eggs! biggrin
Personality: Fierce. She does not back down and wears her emotions on her sleeve. Like fire, she is wild and unpredictable. Keahi can be ruthless and unmerciful. She will often pressure and put down others to get what she wants, which can sometimes simply be respect or enjoyment. She does not care about the well being of others. She only cares for herself and her own survival; she does not set morals for herself. Only by winning her hard-earned respect will she show even the slightest kindness to another.
Connection with Faunia: These interactions have not been pleasant ones at all. They usually involve Keahi hunting and Faunia running. Need I say more? And yes, that is how I got those claw marks on my laboratory door. -_-
Background: Keahi seems to be a wander, who travels from territory to territory trying to find new kimera to challenge. Nothing else is known about her past.
Life Goal: Um...I think it's to be the most powerful and dominate kimera around....I think she may want to lead a pack some day.
Reason for Alignment: She does not care for the ways of the gods.
Likes: Fighting and power?

Meaning of Name: Forest Battler
Personality: This energetic little winged-serpent is a very curious little fellow. He loves to observe things, but does so from a cautious distance. He obidently follows his master, Keahi and adores all of her children. He loves to play with them as well. But when Keahi is mad, he knows to watch out and not displease her in any way. When need be, Vidar is very capable of stepping up to the plate and stand on his own in a battle.
Known tricks: Hunting, guarding, and some battle tactics. He is also currently learning how to lift Keahi from the ground and give her the ability of flight in battle.

Children: Two little girls have just been born! heart
Personality: Deep down, Saar really is a caring, good-hearted soul. But for some reason or other, he has been driven mad with revenge, frustration, hate, and cruelty. It's very easy to rub him the wrong way and very easy to get into a fight with him. He seems to be somewhat protective of himself and that leads him to aggression. He has an obvious soft spot for younglings and to anyone who treats him in a kind, understanding manner. Even so, one misspoken word can cause his kindness to snap.
Connection with Faunia: Faunia has occasionally seen this strange creature. She usually sees him searching for food or trying to get that leather band off that snout. Faunia has wished to help the creature get that thing off, but with the memory of what happened with Tynan firmly etched into her mind, Faunia avoids him as much as possible. She is not sure if Saar has ever spotted her yet.
Background: Completely unknown.
Life Goal: At the moment it seems that all he wants to do is get that leather muzzle off so he can speak at last.
Reason for Alignment: We don't know what his alignment is....
Likes: Chasing things, understanding, generous kimera, hunting, and younger kimera.
Dislikes: Kimera and people who mock him and insult him, others who are unwilling to help him, and beyond all else, that leather band that keeps him mouth sealed.

Ade

Meaning of Name: Crown, royal
Nicknames: None
Mate: None
Personality: I believe Ade is still trying to figure out how the world works. He's a curious kimera who always tries new things and usually gets in trouble for it. There are times when I feel like he does not know what to think of things, like he is still trying to figure out life. Ade is a fairly calm arnulf who rarely gets angry and shout... At least that's how he acts. There are times that I feel that he really is frustrated, angered, scared, or whatever else, but for some reason does not show it. I also think he cares deeply for others but only shows it with simply, usually unrecognized gestures. I believe he can grow up to either be a very social, very confident kimera or a quiet, secluded loner. This shall depend on the experiences he shall face.
Connection with Faunia: Faunia was one of the foster parents for Ade when he was just a newborn. (See background).
Background: One day, Avani returned to Faunia seeking help. With her, she brought this little fellow. Avani had found Ade all alone and his mother dead...She brought him to Faunia and both of them helped to raise him. Nothing is know about who killed his mother or where Ade's father is... or if he is even still alive.
Life Goal: Ade wants to become strong so that he may become a knight for Sarlost.
Reason for Alignment: Ade wishes to follow Sarlost because his foster mother Avani has taught him her hopes and dreams, which Ade has learned to trust and follow since he was a child. Also, Ade says that his real mother used to tell him stories about courageous kimera, including Ade's father. Ade wishes to become a strong, brave kimera as well by becoming a knight for Sarlost.
Likes: Training, hunting, flying, and stories.
Dislikes: Being questioned or emotionally pushed, feeling like a weakling, and cowards who back down from a fight.
